Hey Zenimax? what are you doing over there?
Your patch notes clearly state:

Greetings!

We will be performing our scheduled maintenance on the European megaserver on Monday, May 12th at 10pm EDT / May 13th at 3am BST. During this time, we will be pushing v1.0.8 and will also be doing some backend work. Because of this, we expect maintenance to last slightly longer than usual.

We'll let everyone know as soon as the server is back up for you to play.

So, when i now launch my game i don't get an update.
The game also indicates that it is still running on 1.0.7.
so where is 1.0.8???

What went wrong?

no official statement? i am wondering!
if less really is more, then maybe nothing is everything

    Patch 1.0.8 is live. They just forgot to update the display on the client. If you didn't have the right version you wouldn't be able to log in.

    It's just a display issue, don't worry about it.

    Hello, there! Please do not worry; as long as you have properly patched your game (this includes completely closing the game and launcher, then re-opening it for the latest update), you will have the correct version of the client.

    There was an issue with the labeling of the client version, and this will be corrected in the next patch.

    I doubt changing the label takes more than a few minutes to be honest. But there is no point putting out a patch simply to correct it. So, next patch.. with all the other stuff, whatever those might be. You really think they would put out a patch just for the labeling?

    Apparently you think that fixing a labeling takes very long time to do. And also that Zenimax only has one single person to fix bugs.

    You do know that you can fix multiple things at once, right?

    They keep all hush hush about patch notes even as they trying to impediment it live, but there is no hush hush here about changing a single digit, so yes, I do think it's there highest priority now, because they simply ignoring the pleads of the community to fix certain classes and abilities in game for over a month now.

    I was talking about next one. The " We made werewolf useless" patch I do know about. They posted the notes for it during the maintenance, that's what I meant by hush hush, but for them to change a number - they talking about now already.

    guys, what are you talking about, and why this discussion?
    i was wondering what went wrong with the patch as it still showed the old version. and i did not notice a patch. (maybe because i went afk for a minute)
    -the reason why that is has alraedy been ansered by zenimax.

    i consider this question as answered, and actually the thread can be closed.

    -it is not about zenimax's patching strategy
    -it is not about the patchnotes
    -it is not about if werewolfs are cool, or vampires cooler

    -it is only about wheter or not 1.0.8 has been deployed correctly

    your discussion now is off topic ;)
