    i love that image with snowy Haven of the Five Companions, i wish we could make it snow in our homes like that.

    can't wait for New Life to start, the Winter Storm costume is pretty

    my main character is a Bosmer Warden named Greehnhart in-game, Greenie Florahart in full.

    I apologize if it was in the article and I missed it somehow, but I think we're missing an explanation of the new costume and it's fragments? I gather that we need to gather "Bolts of Winter Storm Cloth" to create a "New Life Winter Storm Robes costume," but I missed the explicit confirmation of such (or how many bolts we need to collect).

    No worries, happy to clarify. You will need 15 Bolts of Winter Storm Cloth. These will drop as potential items in the New Life Festival Boxes.

    I keep getting booted from the server for trying to enter Eastmarch for the New Life Quest. Is there an easy fix for this? Thanks

    So one bolt per day, once you get one, then makes sense to stop opening boxes...so why would I keep doing quests and opening boxes if I already have everything but that? Seems like a killjoy. Oh well, I guess I'll go do something else since I got the bolt already.

    Is there any chance we could get some other types of music in the event tent? For some reason, the flute pierces my brain and I find it hard to tune it out. It's almost like a crying baby or fingernails on a chalkboard.

    Can't we mix in some lutes or vocals or something?

    Yeah. I got the Snowglobe on Day 2, so immediately stopped doing event dailies except the Old Life Rememberance quest to get my 3 evvent tickets and the daily bolt. The writs just aren't worth the mats cost, so I don't bother farming the boxes. The mats dropped from the boxes are kinda nice, but not enough to encourage me to bounce all around Tamriel to get them.

    I just finished getting enough event tickets to unlock the Haven of the Five Companions. I will probably keep doing one Old Life event daily for the daily bolt. The Impresario says I already have all the items, so she won't sell me the bag from prior events. Already have a full stable of indriks. No idea what I will spend the remaining event tickets on. I am donating the event writs to the guild bank. Hopefully someone in the guild can use them. Not much going on here in this event for folks that have played for a few years.

    I'm just doing my one daily quest for the event tickets and bolt. I honestly don't mind that there's nothing new or time-consuming since I'm really busy with holiday plans for much of the next two weeks.

    Curious if next year we can expect to see an update to this event? We've been doing the same thing since it's release. Time for a facelift please! Cool yeti trial boss/WB encounter, something with elk or indriks kinda like reindeer like a racing daily or something, let's spruce it up please!

    Group Repair kits are my go-to purchase when there's nuthin left to buy. They're always welcome when you use them in a group. :smile:

    1. Is there anything else you can use the bolts for besides the one costume?
    2. Would it be possible whenever an event has crafting writs associated with it to see increased %chance for the mats to drop?
