We do not need nor want taunt on both morphs of focused charge. It is now useless in the majority of situations it saw play and cut the utility of the class further. Just put it back or pick one morph. Honestly. There are very few interrupts in the game already and the one that is scribed has an absolutely pathetic range of 8m.

Agreed, I thought it odd that both morphs got a taunt. I still use the morph with off balance on my HA dps, sorry tanks for the extra work.

It did not need a taunt. Now I've got 4 taunts on my templar tank (chain, range taunt, puncture). That's too many taunts. It doesn't have any debuffs that make dropping puncture worth it.

I don't understand the need for class taunts when most tanks already get it through their weapon skills? It just deprives dps of usable skills.

Sorry , this class is out of order. One more change and this class will be delete worthy. Moment of silence please.

I think templars need all the taunts to help keep the enemy’s focus off the new jabs because if they notice that it is now a Daedric spear shape they might die laughing.

I don't really understand why both morphs apply the taunt. But, looking at both morphs, I'm not entirely sure what each one is supposed to specialize in:

Toppling Charge is single target that always stuns the enemy and applies Off Balance. That's a great candidate for a taunt ability!

Explosive Charge, on the other hand, deals AoE damage, interrupting casting enemies, and seems more like the damage dealer or support morph. The problem is that this morph also increases the duration of Major Protection, making it a preferable candidate for a taunt ability.

Both morphs are already trying to be tanking abilities while only one of them is also trying to be useful for damage dealers and support players.

Here's what I think should change:
    • The base morph, Focused Charge, should no longer taunt.
    • The Explosive Charge morph should no longer taunt, since it is useful for damage dealers and support players due to the AoE interrupt and gap closer components. Remove the increased Major Protection duration.
    • The Toppling Charge morph should keep the taunt, but also gain the increased duration of Major Protection that the other morph had.

This would reinforce Toppling Charge as a tank ability, while letting damage dealers and support players use Explosive Charge as a gap closer and AoE interrupt without stealing taunt.

Werewolf Should be Allowed to Sneak
Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color), Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

Add either form of Breach to Explosive and you've got yourself a winner here imo.

And then there's still the question why you would choose this taunt over the one that gives both Breaches (and possibly heals you and gives resistances, with the right gear).
Or the one that gives Major Maim, guaranteed Chilled, and immobilises.
Or the one that provides a decent synergy to multiple players.
Or the newfangled stuff that gives Breaches, even better Major Maim, and heals you regardless of gear.
All of these being skills that a Templar can use.
The taunt on this ability gives absolutely nothing to Templar tanks. The other effects, with better distribution and values, could have some value. The taunt is just superfluidissimo.

As long as you don't die 3 seconds after taunting, the tank don't care. B)

Completely agree and hope that while they're addressing game issues over the next year, Templar jabs and other class problems get the time and attention they deserve. There are in fact several class issues that have been out there for a while now and getting those issues addressed and focus on fixing is more important than getting more sky shards that I really don't need.
