I have this happen a lot as well, particularly my Nightblade. Even after they supposedly fixed the issue. I have lost count with the amount of times i have died due to this. A /reloadui fixes this but you are long dead before that even even reloads. I also found pressing the Esc on the keyboard has helped make combat work.

No matter whether i am pressing the keyboard action buttons or my mouse combat button..... my toon just stands there unable to fight. It more often happens when you are fighting more than 1 enemy, though i'm pretty sure it has happened with 1 vs 1 fights as well.

I will just say it happens to me also... just make them know more people gets the problem....
But yeah it happens sometimes....

Happens to me too. Was fighting the Dark Mane yesterday, and it happened in 3 different instances (yes, I died 3 times in a row because of it)! Somebody needs to take a look at this.

It happens on the US server as well. Some days it's worse than others. Happened to me twice in the same fight yesterday! And yes, the bigger the fight, the more likely it will happen, and the more likely I'll die because of it.

Never happened in PvE, but happens all the time in PvP. Severe server lag is severe =\.

You must wait 1-2 sec after your last attack before hitting "`" key cause there is a thing which prevents you from switching Weapons when attack animation or spell animation is playing. for me it works every time except when i forgot to wait in really heated combat. (on the top left of the screen there is message- you cannot switch weapons at this time or something like that which is not shown sometimes)

Edit: i dont know for PvP never played it

I file a ticket on this about once a day. The tone of the tickets is getting more and more hostile. I'm not ashamed at all; I feel utterly justified.

Nah this is just overall bad responding from the games server side to the inputs you make on your keyboard. I hear it even exist on the US server from posts here and channels i follow like Force on youtube for example.

If you have it on the US servers imagen how it it for us EU players with our inputs that has to travel across the atlantic on top of that.

On top of everything buggy and broken in ESO atleast fluid gameplay is a must have in any game. I recall UO and Daoc (Heck UO didn't even have keybinding until years later where you had to get a 3rd party program for that and daoc didn't have spell queing) being more fluid and responsive then ESO currently is even when i played those games on US servers.

Ahh well guess we'll just have to see what ZOE come up with since there is a sort of timeframe set with Wildstar and Archage release around the corner

I get this a lot too as well as skills animating but not actually doing any damage; it's really frustrating to die as a result of the game mechanics not actually working.

IMHO this needs a serious fix.

not to mention that even "out of combat" it gets really annoying when you're lying dead on the ground.. you have 20+ FULL soulshards on you.. and you for some reason CANNOT press "R" to ress at the spot, but hitting E works flawlessly -.-

My character is a Nightblade on US server and I've had problems where pressing the skill does not work, also weapon swapping seems so slow.

Happens to me as well, now let zos do their work and fix this when they can, not when we want to cause they need to put this through another maintenance or patch wich is alot of work as well.

Happens all the time, to the point my cats run and hide under the bed if that says anything

same here, happens alot to me. Especially fun when healing in vet dungeons
