Engame, sorry but every endgame is a grind, this might be never-ending, but it's not that different really, feels different but isn't.
- No endgame; This game only raises the cap with so called 'veteran ranks' and adds new content, making the endgame a never ending grindstone.
- not living up to it's predecessors; the game is lacking content which was expected by the community, because this content was in previous elder scrolls titles. e.g. Housing, Thieving guild, Dark Brotherhood, multiple schools of magic such as Illusion and Alteration, a barbershop or ANY way of altering the looks of your character.
- High risk, low reward; dying in this game will cost you a ton of gold. Other content such as horses and character rebuilding cost a ton of gold. This wouldn't be a problem if the drop rate of gold wasn't so low. 1-2 gold for a kill with the price of a decent horse being over 40k.
- Bots; I've seen games die because of this. While I am grateful that this issue is being worked on constantly, this will not stop. Simply because of the above reason. You can buy a horse of the webstore, or you can spend the same amount and buy 3 horses. Why do I know? spam advertisement in game.
This game isn't worth the monthly fee. I wasn't against it when the game was announced, but having bought and played the game, this game is not worth it.

Really, 40 levels before you can get a mount, you just proved him right by saying that.Endgame : PvP, and also adding PvE "adventure zone" with 4 and 12 person content. Vet dungeons can also be done for v10 gear. Just because you arent at max level when doing the content, that makes it a grind instead of endgame? I would think it would be a grind if you were max level and just doing it for gear instead.
Lacking content: Theives guild and dark brotherhood are slated to be added to the game. I believe they also mentioned housing at something theyre looking into adding.
High risk, low reward: That's funny because others have stated that the risk is way too low for dying(and i tend to agree with that sentiment). Gold is easy to come by through regular gameplay. I purchased the 42k gold horse around level 40 doing nothing more than quests and grinding.
Bots: I personally havent had any issues with them, but sorry for those that have. Spam was worse in other MMOs ive been apart of(FFXIV was rediculous), but they are working on the issue and over time itll settle down.
So basically I do not agree with any of your statements. MMOs do not get released with 2+ years worth of content, it simply isn't financially possible. The average player is not V10 waiting for content to be released(I am, but spending my time in pvp until 1.1).
You do realize that a monthly fee is in part to keep adding content to the game right? That concept seems to have flown right over your head. This is just a OMG ESO SHOULD BE FTP thread.

Seems he's also only played on a 'seasoned' game...I know there are issues, But at least I give it a 3-4 month buffer zone after launch as time for them to clean it up and follow up on their claims of incoming content.
Oh, and I have had no issues with gold so far... you play right you don't die too often enough to run out of gold... or even slow it's amassing much...
My issue is not with the content. I know it takes a while to get an mmo up and running, but the monthly fee of 15 Euro for a game that isn't polished yet is too much.

I agree with the OP, 2 gold per kill is simply ridiculous.
Go to coldharbour and see if bots thin out. There somany bots if you have to give em al 1g your stil grinding in 3014. And craglorn is downright stupid. End game is called endgame because here you tweak and gear your char to perfection wile doing group content not ad constant new vr lvls like 2 now and devs already stated proud that we soon see more vr lvls. Its *** most people dont even gonna see 12 man group content and all they do is add this.RangerChad wrote: »Bots are thinning out, how many MMO's have you played where the End Game is within the first month of release(?), They are adding spell creation, housing, crime system, thieves guild, dark brotherhood, if you think death is punishing then you die way too much and should relearn your class, I have so much gold from just farming and questing I splurge on crap I don't really need, reward for killing things is far greater than any MMO I have ever played, and I do agree with you on one thing, the gameplay is a lot of fun. GIVE THE GAME SOME TIME PEOPLE IT HAS ONLY BEEN ONE MONTH!!!!!
