My reasoning is that it is very easy to pair with a patron such as Saint Pelin and basically rush at a pace that very few decks can keep up with. Being able to sell every single turn can lead to an exponentially growing Prestige pool that just leads to a snowball victory.

    Red Eagle
I once was able to trim my deck down to just two cards with Red Eagle, and since there were never any cards in my cooldown, Almalexia couldn't be used to confine my cards. I was earning 6 Power every single turn.

    Red Eagle
Red Eagle enables every other deck - except Almalexia - to thrive better. Card deletion is just too strong. Even though it doesn't pair *well* with Almalexia, it lets you prune your deck until it is only made of powerful cards.

Red Eagle. Being able to filter out the bad cards in your deck (I.e. The 1 gold starter cards) while keeping your patron usage open is great. On top of having a great patron (2 power for draw a card) and access to plenty of Contracts to make good plays immediately.

Decks like Rahjin and Amalexia can be powerful and completely shut your opponent out of the game, but can backfire if your opponent gets them rolling first.

Hermaeus Mora can also be very powerful and make very quick wins, but your opponent also gets the opportunity to utilize it (And the setbacks mean they have more chances to come back into the game).

in a vacuum, i would also agree that red eagle is probably the strongest as others said due to the deck pruning

Hermaeus Mora. You need only a handful of his cards and win with 2-3 good combos.

I tend to prefer two decks working together, mainly Crow and Druid King.

The Druid king has some good combos and can get coin, while the crow allows you to move through your deck pretty quickly if you can get those cards. Then with the Crow Patron, you can turn that gold into prestige and either win or get one hand away from winning in a single hand.

If the NPC choses either of those two, then I now choose Mora, because the NPC will either keep getting rid of those cards, or they keep selecting them and using them to my advantage.

Against other players, I don't know which decks I would prefer, because I don't play against other players.

I have found that with NPCs, if the Sorceror king is chosen, you *will* be fighting over that patron, because the NPCs love to spam it and get that extra card, so I tend to not choose it, even though I Do like it.

Your opponent uses the same decks, so it doesn't matter.
