But those percentages don't really reflect my posts as a whole, because a large number of my posts get the fourth reaction-- no reaction at all. I'm not sure how we can calculate that, though.

You can't but you can look at the average number of reactions your posts get if you'd prefer a better idea of how often you get reactions vs post.

I personally use the Agree reaction when I find a post which I like or agree with, the Insightful reaction when something is interesting or informative, and the Awesome reaction when I find a post which took a lot of effort, is humorous, or is one which I especially agree with.

I don't post much compared to others here. I am curious about the reaction percentage, as well as the Op's question.
(I, too, like finding patterns in this stuff. It's interesting.)

Ive done 469 posts with 743 reactions (63%) over about 8 years.

119 Insightful = 16.01 %
539 Agree = 72.54 %
175 Awesome = 23.5 %

So even with a small sample the ratio of I to A to Aw seems pretty consistent with most others here.

Apparently it got removed because people used it as a kind of downvote.... I would have never used it in any case, so it's fine that it's gone.

And Gina's no longer a CM; she's doing something with "content creators" now.

honestly i think people got educated a bit like that here in the forums. i think if the button would still be present to this date, probably more joy and funny comments would be in here. maybe im wrong? perhaps that is also not what ZOS would want?

The problem arises when someone writes a lengthy comment that clearly isn't intended to be funny, such as their latest stream of consciousness about how ESO should be rebalanced introducing a completely new skill line that would make sorcs OP forever...

And instead of taking the time to point out the numerous deficiencies in their musings, people just laugh at them.

A lot of people don't like it when you don't take their ramblings seriously

I would say Agree is the default reaction people use if they feel inclined to leave one. Awesomes are for those who are actually funny and humor is subjective, hit or miss. Insightfuls are rare, people either have to have seen your post as truly informative, OR, it's used as a snarky alternative to disagree or even mockery.

So theses stats have no importance

Where did yo get your definition from? I'm seriously curious. As I'm a studied historian with a focus mostly on history of the first half of the 20th century, demagogy as well as propaganda are topics I have spent a lot of time researching. And there is a broad consensus about what demagogy is. I have never heard "parroting popular opinions to gain attention or likes (just for the sake of it)" being part of the commonly accepted definition.
