You could run a templar on a laptop next to you and do nothing but pop heals with it while you farm somewhere. Hes not a bot nor is he doing anything unlegit. Pretty simple example.
Dont paint one thing to be another. The game doesnt need to support multiboxing with /follow commands to allow it. /follow wasnt invented for multiboxing either.
I already addressed your fallacy.
5. There is no sufficient reason to need more than one account logged in at the same time. I don't care if you have 2 monitors, or 2 computers without multi-boxing the end result is the same. This is a teleological argument, not a deontological one, but you probably don't know the difference. Method doesn't matter, end result does.

Yeah right, and who would pay two instances of the game plus two times the monthly fee just to do that?
And unless that templar has an auto-heal and -evade function (which again would require an illegal script) that would still be rather awkward to do, since whatever would attack your farmer would probably also attack your templar.
There is no sufficient reason to need more than one for you, but maybe for another. Reason 1) Player can acheive double the loot by running 2 chars while leveling. Reason 2) Player can handle AOEing massive pulls by himself using his templar for burst heals while he wouldnt have any other way to work that into his own char.
Sure it makes people mad. But its no different than 2 people playing next to each other, and one of those people doing a lot less work than the other. You won't really be able to prove its just 1 person.
Botting/macroing is another story, but these are completely seperate to the above. If youre going to whine about something, make sure you dont broadly incorporate those not responsible for what youre complaining about.

You can AOE on top of your templar. You dont need auto-heal -evade functions.... lol. Guess youve never boxed any game in your life. Probably why amongst the first to throw stones in any direction you can.

Wrong, Fengrush.
1) Players should only be allowed to achieve things on one character at a time.
2) This is a good example of why Multi-Clienting itself is a bad thing.
imagine a pvp zone where 20 players controlling 2 characters each run in together doing that. It would destroy the balance of the game and give that faction (and any skirmish these players are in) a massive advantage in manpower.Sure it makes people mad. Wrong, Fengrush.
1) It makes people mad because it is cheating.
2) It is very different. 2 actual people playing together is the intended design.
3) Which goes into the need for blocking Multi-Boxing.Botting/macroing is another story, but these are completely seperate to the above. If youre going to whine about something, make sure you dont broadly incorporate those not responsible for what youre complaining about.
These are a connected issue. Multi-Boxing is the first gateway into using a bot. Without this, things get much more complicated for the would-be botter. Also, if you are going to accuse someone of whining to justify cheating, make sure that you yourself are not whining. I am complaining that this imminent issue needs fixed at once. You are complaining that I don't want people getting unfair advantages over others.

But we all KNOW that multiboxing in ESO is not really feasible. The question still is; if it is not really useful in game (except for "farming") then why do you so object to canning it altogether?
Do you have any proof that it is not being exploited, that not some of those bots are running on multiboxed machines (saves on hardware cost for those professional botters) ? Or that the OP lied?
