Alchemy and Enchanting crafting not working properly after update 44

I went to do my daily crating writs after the update, and found the system didn't recognize I already knew the reagents and runes:
Alchemy:
Enchanting:
My character knows all alchemy reagents, all essence and aspect runes, and all potency runes up to her level. These writs should be no problem. Luckily, I could still complete them by unchecking 'quests only' and selecting the right runes/reagents manually. This was the same for other characters I tried afterwards.
I hope this can be fixed and doesn't mean I have to re-learn everything for the stations to funcion normally again.
PS: Thanks for adding the quest markers to the stations, though. That's a very nice improvement, very convenient!

Thanks for letting me know about the known issue.
I'm not sure this is the same thing, as it's not about a quest marker but about the menu when interacting with the crafting stations, but maybe these problems are related and will get resolved at the same time.

Perhaps that will work, but these types of bugs should be elevated in priority because I don’t think we get as many incremental patches as PC or we don’t get them as often, so we end up dealing with the bugs for longer on console.

Maybe you can memorize the right components for all quests, sadly not me
Do consoles not display the effects of each ingredient the way PC does? I've never used addons, and was able to craft glyphs, potions, and poisons for Enchanting and Alchemy writs long before the QoL changes which added the "quests only" option to crafting stations. Is it fundamentally different on consoles? If so, how did console users complete writs before QoL changes made things a lot easier?I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

they do display effects.

I find it absolutely hilarious that I've not experience this issue at all until today, over two weeks after the initial post. Three days AFTER they were "fixed." PCEU and PCNA. I'm not sure that fix means what they think it means.Maythor: honestly we're getting the supermarket treatment here ... shrinkflation with the addition of simply moving things about so they seem fresher .. all the while being told a corporation is our friend :P
