PTS Update 44 - Bug Reports for Class and Ability Changes

    New cloak is bugged. If cloak is broken and you recloak you can be pulled out of stealth by line of sight even when it is toggled. It is inconsistent. Sometimes it works sometimes there's a less than one second cloak before being pulled out. You can also be pulled out of stealth by AOE's while the skill is toggled if you previously had it toggled then recloaked.
    The "tic" is also faster than a normal tic.

    Even if the UI says "MISSED" for the melee attack action, you'll still be pulled from cloak. Since it bills you at the cast and not at the 2s. More mag lost.

    Apparently, interaction between new "toggleable" cloak (Shadow Cloak & Shadowy Disguise) and Detection Potions is bugged.

    What happens is that Detection Potion do infact remove invisibility and disable cloak, but it is not disabled "fully" and Shadow Cloak & Shadowy Disguise remains "toggled on". This means that the skill still disables your magicka recovery and drains your magicka resource pool, while effectively being turned off, and not providing anything at all. So all that magicka goes basically in "limbo". Something like this is most likely a bug and I assume is not intended.

    This Bug is most likely due to how Shadow Cloak & Shadowy Disguise work on live server, where it is a duration based skill and not a toggle.

    This would require to update either "toggleable" Shadow Cloak & Shadowy Disguise or Detection Potions so that it would simply toggle Shadow Cloak & Shadowy Disguise fully off.

    Additional Feedback:

    On live server, Detection Potions are indeed extremely powerful countermeasure tool for every form of stealth and invisibility. One player can effectively "shut down" the entire mechanics in certain area around that player. The only thing that can be compared to this would be Negate - which is an ultimate ability.

    Alternative solution would be to leave Detection Potion & toggleable cloak interaction as it is, but limit detection capability of detection potion to the user of the potion only. So it would work kinda like Piercing Mark skill, where only the caster of the skill can see invisible target that was marked. It would mean that the only one who sees invisible players would be the one who used the potion and not every single player in certain area (which again, would make perfect logical sense).

    It would be still extremely strong option as you would be able to see an invisible player that has its magicka recovery down to 0 and most likely is low on magicka & attack that player with normal means, but it would also make sense for the Shadow Cloak & Shadowy Disguise not to be toggled off, since they will still be invisible to everyone else.

    It seems as though Ghostly Embrace's DoT is not inheriting the proper damage increases from things like Crit Damage and % increases. The damage on CMX and recounts is much lower than it should be when compared to other similar DoTs like Acid Spray.

    The ball from ball of lightning is counting as a pet. Whenever the ball is up, my hardened ward is not casting the heal for me (This is devastating for pvp). I also receive the expert summoner passive while the ball is up since it counts as a pet (puts me in execute faster).

    Is this functioning as intended?

    Does that mean necropotence is currently working with it? if so that might be pretty good.

    Draining our Magicka only every two seconds when Shadowy Disguise is toggled on is extremely cost prohibitive - especially when moving and Magicka Regen is turned off.

    On Live where Magicka Regen is turned on while moving in cloak, a 3 second cloak costs 1000 Magicka or less.

    On PTS where Magicka Regen is turned off while moving in cloak, toggling cloak on for 3 seconds costs over 6000 Magicka.

    Either change the ability to have a per second cost so we have more control over our Magicka management or charge 60% less for the first two seconds of cloak because all most people will ever use with a per 2 second cost is four seconds or more.
    But yeah ZOS...Cloak is the problem.
