Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

1.7 million Likes on Facebook BEFORE launch. 1.8 million currently.

Not many likes after the game launched.

Probably because how fast peoples armor dies from 5 minutes of combat.

Or maybe just the fact this game isn't what everyone expected... Oblivion anyone? Or maybe Skyrim....

I wanted Skyrim online. They tricked me.

100k is impressive and that is assuming the majority of the earlier 1.7 million now dislike the game which you and I know is not true.
I will still look across the lands from my perch at Arrius, Nerf or no I will still be the Night. I may not be the hero Ebonheart Pact wanted but I will be the hero Ebonheart pact deserves.

FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Actually we know nothing if majority or minoritof those 1.7 changed their minds. Unless in-game and forum qq is any way to measure that.

Bottom line is that 100k difference in one month is meaningless with no solid statistic to back it up.

Find a non-fansite ...heck a FANsite for that matter, that isn't filled with animosity & angst towards ZoE for their handling of the franchise.

    Post please.

What's Facebook? Is it some picture site. All jokes aside. I pride myself on not once ever visited Facebook or Twitter, I have been using the Net since its text only days and bulletin boards before it. I have never seen the attraction too it and why people rave over it so much. Regards the like and dislike button, anyone could press those so it matters none.

@butterfly442 has been complaining so much in forums I recognize the name specifically because of it. Some people have nothing better to do during maintenance than whine. "F2P" is the call of self-entitled "got to have it know" diseased youth. Their go to insult when their worlds require patience.

They tricked you? Didn't they specifically say before launch that this wouldn't be Skyrim online?

It says Elder Scrolls. That implied it would be great. Its not.
  • kittrellbj_ESO
Perhaps you can tell us how they could've made an online version of Skyrim that would give you exactly the same level of enjoyment.

Like Angry Joe said, it's not up to par with the quality you'd expect from an Elder Scrolls game. But for an MMO, I'm finding it to be on the better side.
I look at it as an mmo first and an Elder Scrolls game second which is really how I think it should be looked at, because what most players think of to be The Elder Scrolls (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) were developed by Todd Howard's team at Bethesda and they had little to no involvement with ESO.
We can't ask for the same type of game from an entirely new group of people.
