I understand that one of the reasons to not have a world auction house is to protect against gold seller company exploits. The problem is that the plan in place with individual guilds doesn't "work". It is functional, but the market you have access to even with 5 guilds is way too limited to be really useful. I mean it is what it is and I'm going to play the game regardless so I'm not whining about it, but...
What if
We had a world market where people could post what they want to buy and what they are willing to pay for it and people could fill those requests? I believe this has worked well in EVE and other games have used this (Pirates of the Burning Seas).
I am not saying this is an idea that everyone will love, but it comes with a built in way to track people who are abusing it as it's the buyer who is posting what they will pay for something and can be easily flagged if someone is buying one iron ingot for 100k gold.
It's just a thought, something I'd love to see down the road. A crafter can actually know what people want and will pay and can spend their time making things they know will sell. How useful is that?
Anyway, just my 2 cents, would love to see it down the road somewhere.
Thanks for indulging me and have a great day!
