[REQUESTS] Give us either additional 14 inventory for each additional armory slot or stack items

As of now one has to carry around the items for each armory slot that your character uses in addition to the normal inventory. Each additional armory slot hence consumes 14 item places in your inventory which makes it pretty constraining to have more than one armory slot. I see two solutions to this issue:
1) Increase player inventory by 14 inventory slots for each additional armory slot that a character uses. If abuse is an issue these additional inventory slots could be bound to the armor pieces saved in the armory slot.
2) Maybe easier to implement: Allow stacking of armor pieces bound to an armory slot so it only consumes one inventory slot. Containers are already there, allow to place these items in a container. This functionality could be available at the armory station.

Armory should store the items for each build with the slot they use. An armory is properly the place where you store weapons and armors, and i eso alo your build out skills and afflictions.

Stickerbook should be Storage too, so you can equip items right from there.
Without the need to have Gear in the inventory it would free about 100 slots for an average player.

Stop hoarding stuff. 14 slots should make no difference to your inventory once it's maxed. Heck, you could lose 50 slots and still be able to do an evening's hunting without needing more space.

this is probably too complicated, but it'd be neat if they'd stack it up as like an 'outfit' so once you classify something as an armory build, it only takes up one bag slot. Then you can only equip it thru the armory.

Or I did like someone's suggestion of the armory storing the gear from the build. That sounds more feasible than my idea :)

I don't think the OP's request is unreasonable, not least because of the amount of junk that accumulates from daily rewards, quest starters, random fragments from dungeons etc.

There's a limit to how many times one can type "DESTROY" before losing the will to live.

Actually that is a really excellent and clever suggestion! Thanks! They should implement this asap.

the OP isnt talking about hoarding, its about armory with different builds, that need different gear

a normal build is 11-12 pieces of gear each (depending on if your running a 2h item (staff or 2h weapon or bow) or a 1h item (dual wield or 1h/shield)

so each armory slot, if it requires different gear, is 11-12 pieces of gear per saved build that you have to physically have on your character in your bag in order to actually switch builds (even using the 2 default armory slots for different builds, you now have to have at least 11-12 of your bag slots eaten by alternate gear if its a drastically different build)

like another poster suggested, the gear should actually be stored with the armory slot, not on your character, or at least be auto-retrieved from storage such as the bank

If the armory did store your stuff it could justify the overpriced per character slot cost.

I literally wont buy more armory slots right now because the armory does not store the gear just the stats of the build and nothing more.
This is poor in design, Please make the armory store the guild and remember the outfits and or costumes and mount being used at the time so it all gets put back into place when loaded.
I will most certainly buy more armory slot when this happens. Until then its just not worth it.
The current design is keeping me from exploring more builds and experimenting more and I refuse to make more characters so I can do this.
Leveling a new toon every time I want to try a new build is absurd!

Please for the love of ZOS! Make the Armory store the gear sets and appearances including costumes and mounts. TY

The Armory System was introduced after players accepted that they had to re-slot gear, re-spec attributes/skills, etc.. every time they wanted to tackle different content with the same character. Some players wanted a method to simplify the process. ZoS listened to player feedback and gave them exactly what they wanted.

Back then, players didn't complain about having to lug all that gear around so they could switch whenever needed. It was their choice to have different gear loadouts and accepted that they'd have to carry it around with them.

Mh. One can look at it like you do.

One could however also look at it that there is still room for improvements.

You could as well look at it as a customer who payed money or, if you sub, are paying money for a service and that as a paying customer you want the product or service that you pay for is adapted to your needs.

It would be nice to have all stackable items at 1000 rather than some 20, 50, 100, 1000, etc.

I’ve never purchased armory slots, but if it stored gear, I actually would.
