Well that just made my evening. I decided to make an alt and give myself a break from the grind of VR.
Anyway, I'm running around enjoying myself and suddenly get a PM saying "You're a *** !"
Surprised, I reply asking what the problem is?
"You're stealing all my chests. you have done it twice now"
Now understand I'm just running round collecting anything/everything like I normally do so I reply saying I'm not doing it intentionally BUT they are there for everybody to get.
I now get another PM saying that...
"I was going to get them ... (followed by a long line of badly spelt swear words and some comment regarding my heritage)
At this point I'm nearly falling out of my chair laughing at the mental picture of some spotty faced teenager going ape-fit ballistic at his screen raging at me !
For all the complaints I've made about this game over the last few weeks, those last 5 minutes were worth a months sub, I haven't laughed so much in ages !

Chirru✭✭✭✭Well...apart from bots there are Trolls in the game trolling you.
Often.... yes often... I see players standing at a node sorting out their bags because it is FULL.
I think to myself: give them some more time to get rid of fish-bait... I go and take the node and get in response some very unkind words.
Bots however do not care... they go and take nodes, if you like it or not, right in front of your very nose. Are the Trolls raging about that? No, of course not...they can not hurl abuse at Bots and so they target other players with their frustration.

When I got vamp in the 40s, and my character was so pale it was noticeable from a far, then that really got people to start wondering why someone is slaying daedra in their underwear.2 -
I remember in WoW one time I was running around farming ore nodes. A random character sent me a tell to stop stealing his nodes. After some discussion this fool made it clear that he thought that any nodes he saw in the zone belonged to him. I gave up arguing with him at that point.1 -
AryaWythers✭✭✭Just more greedy PvE players who think the game resolves around them...until they drive it FtP...they will just move on when content is old. PvP players drive MMOs and it's to bad Zenimax has screwed us over for greedy players. FF14 added in PvP because they realized this after so long...but for some reason Zeni likes to drive us away, as they work on NEW content without fixing year old beta problems.
I finished the game after a week by playing 20hrs a day but please give me some new content please

Carnage2K4✭✭✭✭Nothing more hilarious then been threatened with a report for 'stealing' a chest some random in a dungeon failed to compleat, leaving it open for me to take.
I'v had it happen to me, and nothing to do but yell at your lock pick for braking/not doing exactly as you told it to and cry yourself to sleep in a ball, on the floor...Human Infant Connoisseur0 -

It does get annoying when you trying to get mob exp an the person in front of you is killing everything as for the chests I just wait for then to fail and I jump right in.

heheh, had that done on me a couple of times, until I started learning to check bag for crappy stuff before going to either node or chest, if I suddenly find a chest, I dont just run to it, first look at top of my screen, it tells me how many slots I have leftEdited by Artemiisia on May 12, 2014 5:05AM0 -

I must say that i hate PvE, but love it when I see GREEDY players do this...classic PvE players. I just remember in early WoW when they would train mobs on their own team to get chest or node...hahaha

If they walk away and don't open it, then I will move in and take it. I have even gone so far as to opening them for another player to take the loot because they ran out of lockpicks. Sometimes it pays to be nice to other players, but then there are a lot of greedy ***.2 -

nhisso✭✭✭✭Lotsa lies in these comments. Im guessing, too, that TC does in fact steal chests from people and came here to try to save face so when his rep. in game starts to suffer he can say "oh please, I even have a topic on the forums about people acting like Im stealing chests from them".

Squishy✭✭✭As much as I hate it when it happens to me (failed to open it, or ran out of inventory space) and someone comes in and take what's in there, it's fair game.
The game was designed that way, so as annoying/impolite as it is, it's part of the joys of being in an MMO
