We all love eye candy and we love transformations and stuff that makes you feel really special and powerful.
It is a marketing sentence.
I know and I hate it when ever I see it, because it's generalizing and in many cases false. If I'd take it even more seriously, I could say you are trying to present your personal idea as more weighty than it is, trying to skew ZOS' view about what the playerbase actually wants. Not exactly friendly towards other players, is it?

And every decision ZOS makes is accepted positively by all the playerbase? Does ZOS know exactly what the entire player base want? You are making a very odd point, you can not satisfy everyone, this is just an idea, I don't understand why you are so offended by it?

An "I'd like to..." or "In my opinion..." would have been more than sufficient. At best including the question what others think. You know, to open a discussion and let ZOS really see what the playerbase truly wants.
While I have no problem with your suggestion, even if I'm personally not interested in that stuff,
- it's the first time this suggestion comes up in the forum, never have I seen any other player even mentioning that
- there are players who dislike all kinds of morphs/transformations, because they prefer to look at their character they way they have created them after spending a long time on the creation screen
- some people find there's already too much visual clutter and flashy effects in the game
So much for the "we". Just saying.
But good look with your suggestion! I mean it.

You know, it was a little remark about how your wording sounds and that it doesn't exactly help to get positive reactions when propounding an idea. It was well-meant, which is the reason I ended my post with:But good look with your suggestion! I mean it.
The only "drama" I see is feeling insulted by that, fantasizing about psychological "issues", etc. But go on how ever you want, in the end it's your choice how you want to present yourself and your ideas here.
Look at your essay long comment above making such an issue about one little marketing sentence that i used. But this is exactly what you people are looking for, to find something from which you can turn an argue, you yearn for it. And you people should always be just ignored right away, don't feed the troll goes the saying. I'm out of here ->
Why can't people just talk about an idea instead of beating up the person who posted it.
I always find myself wondering why opinions which offers advice are interpreted in this way. Having a different opinion than someone else isn't an act of war. It's an opening for discussion, and an opportunity to become aware of how others might see certain phrases so that future communication can be improved upon. Why can't people just talk about an idea instead of beating up the person who posted it.

I think it's always important to consider that certain likes, dislikes, and preferences are not universal. Presenting a concept as a player, to players, from a "marketing" perspective, using the kind of verbiage that corporations use, is generally not a good idea. Speaking for "everyone" isn't going to win you any favors on a forum which is all about expressing opinions and discussing the merits and detriments of certain ideas.
My experience on these forums has made me realize that there is a wide variety of player types, and ways to play. While it is impossible to account for every single nuance, I find it best, when making my own posts, to avoid assuming that everyone plays like me or wants the same things (And when I do inadvertently slip into that way of thinking, I don't mind correction.)

There is a new quest giver in the IA and one of the rewards for finishing their daily quest is a mystery transformation verse that transforms you into a random avatar (without having to have a set of 3 visions).
