Couple of ideas for new mythics to throw out there

Now that we have the Shadow Queen's Cowl mythic which is basically a mythic for thieving / thief roleplay characters, perhaps they should have a couple of mythics to support fishers and crafters. I haven't thought of fancy names for these proposed mythics, but it would be nice if we could get mythics that provide some QoL changes for fishing, as well as for crafters, especially in light of people complaining about overinflated prices for certain crafting items.

So for people who enjoy fishing, it would be nice to have a mythic that would drastically decrease the aggro distance from monsters so that you can fish uninterrupted and without the fear of being dragged into combat when a random player runs by and drags a mob of monsters with them. It would also be nice (but not necessary) if it also provided the Fish-eye Rye recipe buff, which highlights fishing spots to make them easier to spot. It would also be great if it slightly increased your odds of getting perfect roe if you wear the mythic while cleaning your fish.

For crafters, I thought this would be a great way to address scarcity of crafting materials (mostly Alchemy, but it could be applied to gold upgrade mats too), but we could get a mythic that will further increase crafting efficiency beyond what we have from our crafting skill lines while you wear the mythic. For instance:

Instead of yielding 4 potions and 16 poisons per "batch" from the alchemy station, it will yield 16 potions, and 48 poisons per "batch." The mythic will also halve the amount of gold upgrade materials used to gold out your light/medium/heavy armor and weapons (including shields) and increase the amount of gold mats you get from deconning gold equipment from 1 per item to 2 per item, and it can slightly increase your odds of getting kuta out of a runestone node (since there is no upgrade equivalent)

The leads for these mythics could/should be obtained purely from engaging in these activities (i.e., from fishing in different reasons and from daily writ boxes).

IMO, this is a demand-side solution to address supply issues for things in the economy that are relatively scarce (looking at you Columbine, but I know there are others), which, in turn would also go towards resolving many PVPers requests, mainly about the availability of tri-pots (assuming they won't be put in the alliance vendors).

Just some ideas to throw out there. Hopefully someone from Zos is listening.

I love the fishing and crafting, even the alchemy. I've joked for years that there should be a VMA fishing pole that provided the Fish Eye Rye buff, but I would love such a mythic.

Part of the fishing challenge is dealing with the environment, particularly when you go into PvP zones.

Please don't devalue my master angler achievement!

The crafting one is problematic because there's no downside to using the mythic - as soon as you've harvested your mats, deconned gear, upgraded gear, you simply switch back to the mythic you really want to use. This goes against the idea that to get the benefit of a mythic you have to give up something else (oakensoul you give up a bar, pale order you give up external healing, etc.). Even if you had to give something up for the crafting mythic it still wouldn't matter because you're only wearing it to get its benefits, and would take it off before feeling any downside.

@I_killed_Vivec I know what you're talking about with devaluing the Master Angler, especially if you got it before the CP changes and Fish-Eye. But I'll take anything that lessens the sting of the unholy RNG.

You might feel that way, but I certainly don't. Especially when random people running by me bring the fight to me - something I can't even control. It also doesn't help that there is some weird thing going on (my conspiracy theory is because my main is a healer) where if monsters get aggro'd near me they make a bee line directly to my character, completely ignoring the person who actually caused the aggro in the first place!

I don't think any of these changes would devalue your achievement at all. One of my good ESO friends obtained the master angler achievement even before the champion point system rework that brought us the fishing nodes. NOTHING can ever take that away from him, and he's got bragging rights that nobody will ever have, regardless of whether others sport the title or not.

Don't act like some decent QoL changes somehow denies or undermines what you have done personally in the game. The truth is the game is 7 years old now. If people really wanted this achievement from Day 1 they could have gotten it. Not many people have the title, though, because not that many people fish - outside of needing to do so to complete events (New Life Festival). Even then, people rarely fish. This is at least something that would help people actually focus on fishing rather than battling stupid trashmobs, most of which I didn't even get close to in the first place.

I've got 3 master anglers (3 different accounts) from late 2018/early 2019, long before the cp changes (assuming you're meaning cp 2.0). I don't consider them devalued. Then again, I just think fishing is fun, so I do a lot of it.
