Is U43 Inspiring a short break from ESO for anyone?

I rarely regear, but I don't use gear that'll get nerfed either.Used same gear from start til 2019,then changed gear, used that til this year and changed again.I don't see a big change for what I use or how I play.Only ppl that is truly affects is meta chasers, and that is really a small amount of players, since most realized it's pointless cause of all the nerfs,or next update gets better gear.

Gold Road nuked my desire to play. That price...that grind..that little content. Previously U35 stopped my playing until around 6 months ago. I'll be waiting until Gold Road is $10, then maybe play again.

I only login for the daily Rewards currently. Since the Dungeon tool does not appear to get a fix for 2-3 people groups and Cyro still does not get any love, it will most likely stay that way.

Nah I'm having fun and want to try the scribing changes and new IA sets. I'm still working on farming vLC and hanging with guild a few times a week. Our dungeon group is still working on the last hm's then trifectas, got moongrave, icereach, and unhallowed last night. I think I have six more hm left.

I don't see any reason why it would. There isn't anything in U43 other than some fixes for the scribing which does anything that I find particularly useful, but also nothing that's going to cripple (or even hamper) what I'm currently doing. So no. I'll keep on keepin' on.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I’m dissatisfied with the direction of this game in every possible way. Content is being heavily recycled and artificially extended, despite this also being a year with less content than ever. Where’s the passion or creativity? How do you guys always find a new way to underdeliver?

Congrats on the console environmental sustainability changes - it was a great success! My time and money have moved on to other games.

im really looking forward to the new stuff in the archive lol, this is a huge part of the update for me

the housing thing i think will be alright, ill list my houses but i dont see myself really interacting with it much

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

The game is extremely boring. I log on for events for tickets and when a new chapter drops and that's it now. Not much for veteran players to do except repeat the same **** over and over.

I haven’t looked at the upcoming changes for u43. I had to take a break from trials so I doubt I will be changing gear soon, not sure what changes if any would be needed.

I have exhausted the Gold Road content now except for decorating the Merryvine Estate house, which I just purchased with gold and started working on. I will work off some things on my to do list for stuff I never got around to doing and play some other games in the off hours for a change.

Vampire undeath is finally nerfed, I was playing without vampirism for years in pvp and now will be fun to see how others will struggle who got used to getting carried by it.

I haven't been playing as much the past couple months after friends left the game and my guild closed and my progs ended bc of scheduling issues and I still haven't found a home guild and I forgot to dig up antiquity leads that I need to hunt again, and honestly with the arcanist nerfs idk if I will hit minimum dps for endgame now so :/

Might just keep questing, Monday & Tuesday dungeons with friends, events but not as sweaty, and a trial here and there when I can get a support spot. ESO is still "my game" but without my dungeon group or a home guild or prog achievements to chase it's just not worth it to play as much as I used to. The new Dragon Age game is will be out in likely October? So I will be playing that a bunch

I was starting to get excited about the "big housing update" until they announced it's just home tours. So now U43 just feels like a big disappointment, and while I probably won't take a break, it feels like there's nothing there for me.

Regearing is something I'm never in a hurry to do anyway.

yes + the aboslute ruined state of the economy it just makes me not want to play anymore, and i won't be for awhile now. Please zos, go back to the 2018-2022 model of content, q4 zone and revert the guild trader times back to normal. please.

i am excited for update 43.
    because of:
    - new furniture
    - new houses

    - frost damage for Wield Soul
    - more damage for Arctic Blast, though it's a little weird it won't heal anymore most of the time. i have a heal over time in Burst Soul.

    - house tours seems nice too
And no update really makes me want to stop playing eso, because i have plenty of stuff to do in eso.

Arctic Blast only does more damage upfront. the damage provided by the cast should be less overall due to the reduced chilled proc rate.

Huh. After rereading the patch notes, looks like what's "happening" to warden won't affect me at all, since I never play "frostdens". That's good for me at least! As for regearing - we'll see when I get to having to kill stuff, but I'm betting it's not going to be an issue for me.

It has for me. Apart from doing writs on a couple of characters I have gone back to Skyrim for a bit. It gives me a chance to play the Anniversary Edition.

Well I don't need to make gold. Not many of you have been here off/on since 2014. This game has gotten really boring.

NOW they changed vamp to just a reduction of 15% ... at stage 3. Not 10% for undeath at Stage one. So it's really just a take a way from Vampires, with nothing added. Of course, there is something new on the horizon for PVP tanks, so don't think this 15% reduction will matter. Not enough to not play, I'm just bored ... again. Still don't get why it takes them what? 7 years to change a staple PVP passive like undeath.

I rarely regear so that wouldn't impact me, but the game is falling far short of its potential these days and that concerns me. The fact I have a paid year of ESO+ on PC and NA until almost the end of this year means I will likely stick around, but it is disappointing.

I'm a Gamer, not just an ESO-er... I take breaks from ESO all of the time to go and play other games or do other things (I'm also a musician). I'm usually bouncing from one game to the next, and sometimes even play multiple different games in the same day. There are so many games out with new ones constantly releasing, and it would be criminal to call myself a Gamer but not play any of them.

As for the changes in game, it happens... We might like the changes, or we might hate them... That's just the nature of the beast. Adapt or move on.

I never regear or respec just because there are new items introduced. As long as my characters are performing well for the content I enjoy I leave them alone.

New ways to use Group Finder is not new content. It’s a small quality of life update at best.

And in Q4, PvPers will feel the exact same way as the Housing community currently does. Js

To add on to this, if someone wanted to play as an Ice Mage Warden archetype in PvE, then Arctic Blast took a large power nerf in terms of being a “pre-buff” DoT.

As in, casting the ability before engaging a pack of enemies leaves you with only the DoT portion which now deals less damage.
