I don't like this idea of an 'endgame'. What it means is that everything is filler until you hit the max level and most of the game becomes dead-on-arrival content.
  • Xanxarib16_ESO
so you want to keep grinding quest and mobs for ever?

dont get me wrong i loved Swtor story line and lvling my char up i had a blast and i also had a blast in ESO untill i came to the VR content. and now im VR 10 and there is nothing for me to do nothing at all.

well ESO did say a few month back they would have Raids in there game so i was really happy to hear that, then 1 or 2 weeks beofre release they changed it to if the population wanted raids they would bring in for future content. and this is the sum of there awesome decision to not have any endgame content at all for PvE players...

ohh yea THE adventure zone is just around the corner ... no release day yet! and i think they will make the release day official before the first suscription day lands so get ready for an official relase date of craglorn may the 4 or 5th and that then they will say craglorn will be out may the 20th. so they can get your first month of suscription fee.

ESO really dropped the ball just like SWTOR did, both failed with endgame content, Swtor endgame was full of flaws and ESO dont have any endgame... both really bad.

There is no endgame, because you are not meant to be in the end game right now... thats the reason, and on top of that its a smart move, they can fine tune encounters, after the have seen was the community has done with this 300 skillpoints

Warden Main apparently... 7 Wardens currently, otherwise a healer of every class.
Mostly active in No CP PVP on EU, blaming the buffbot meta in pve.
I want to feel like I am saving somebodies life, not like I am carrying amunition for them...
  • Xanxarib16_ESO
me an a million other players are not meant to be in the endgame? are you F'ing me? maybe you are not meant to play endgame content?

they are not smart they dropped the ball and we all know it, now lets see if they can save it!

The thing that killed SWTOR for me was when they removed the entire pvp planet, changed crafting a couple months into it, their game engine couldn't handle more than 24 people on screen without turning into a power point presentation even though I was using a 570 GTX card back then, which was pretty high end.

your fault for running levels like you had diarrhea, the game is only a few weeks old for gods sake. i bet you do this in every game you play, rush to end game and then whine theres nothing to do.

some ideas, try going back to early zones and running any quests you missed, if you havent already join a pvp guild and have fun working as a team decimating your foes. Start a new char and class and see how those new skills compare against your mains. Quest with other low levels and make friends.

wow you are so intelligent that you could loose your brain and still be smarter then everyone else eh!

i did't run lvls fast i listen to each and every quest in this game, i even slowed down my lvling when i hit the VR content not to mention i was stuck in coldharbour for 1½ day doing nothing for the main story that should take me to the VR content was bugged, i am really sorry i have more time on my hands then you.

but when a company like this fail so hard and dont bring any endgame, and not only that they said 3 or 4 month ago they would have 24 man raids in ESO and then step down to we will only bring raids if the player population wants it 1 or 2 weeks before release to then only bring a 12 man raid now and very soon a month + after release? well this is just ESO pissing all over the Raiders that really love this game, but have nothing left to do, but wait ...

Its sad to see no presentation from developers about these game breaking mechanics...
I have read the patch notes and it seems mobs in veteran zone get double exp..
Kills in Cyrodiil gets double exp...

But what good is that when you need millions and millions of exp and still need to grind those horrible other 2 factions ?

Not to speak that leveling in Cyrodiil is still not viable if you want to reach V10 before 2016.

I realy love the game, but it is going to suffer greatly from people getting exhausted from grinding quests and dont feel the will to log in anymore and leave to game.
It leaves a sour taste in the mouth from many people as some builds and classes have a easy time and some other are just slacking in more then double their skill sets.

There are no devs decending from the heavens to shed light on this matter and that is realy realy bad.
No news of good news they say, but when charging a sub each month and players getting frustrated they leave without notice to.

I hope Zenimax as plan B ready just in case the bom drops after the 1st month or the second month.
Zenimax not talking about the problems we face is not showing much affection for those struggling to enjoy this mmo.

They should do this realy, this mmo is still young and needs to be formed / finetuned and the devs sure as hell doesnt seem to care about us.

I'm a little surprised they've actually stuck to such a poor decision. GG ESO.

So easy to fix... yet, they do not.

    Mind boggling.

I noticed in the dev blog post today they mentioned making dungeons more rewarding...

Funny thing, GW2 said the same thing when people were upset because the dungeons offered nothing. They kept saying it for fix more months... then more months after that. Guess what? They never, EVER, made dungeons more rewarding. They just changed the way any rewards were given but the net gain was always the same.

Any positive dungeon gains should be in this immediate patch as reversing xp in dungeons is quite obviously very fast and easy to do given how fast they removed it.

Put it back in... Work on the other stuff later.

NO MAN FIXING SIDE QUESTS AND GRAPHICS ARE WAY MORE IMPORTANT.

But yeah, I love how the OP crafted his post. Hits the nail right on the head. I'm burned out on questing and I'm only VR1.

You're not meant to be in endgame yet because there is no endgame.
Craglorn is about to get released and as Firor stated in his post yesterday, they're "planning to add more content over the coming months".
There is no endgame because they designed the game so that you take your time to get immersed into the universe and don't rush it, they do this so that it might take a little longer for people to reach VR10 while they finish up on Craglorn, which in turn is gonna give you two more vet ranks to go through.

The players who used the repeatable pvp quests for getting to VR10 asap are the ones who's gonna start whining first and then they're gonna quit, good f*****g riddance I say. Expecting to get to an endgame that hasn't even been added yet (and EVERYONE knows this) and rushing the game only to whine is not something that the community needs.

I've got one tip for you, cancel your subscription and don't come back.

you know what's sad? that you think they never promised endgame at release... for they did and many times. it was not until one or two weeks before release they said that they would only add endgame content aka raids if the player population wanted it.

and the VR1 to VR10 grind was just a way to slow down end game players like me.

now craglorn is coming out and i wont call it endgame for as they have said multiple time now, you can do the content from VR1. aka a VR 10 player will have it easy, so this is just another big *** up imo.

so why dont you go back to panda wow, or what ever hole you came from???

If you want a dungeon crawler go play wow. Its so simple, you can run dungeons from 15 - 90 and never need to quest. Why do you want the same system at ESO?

Don't you think that people have chosen TESO because here questing matters and not a boring dungeon grind? While you quest you see new things all the time, a dungeon is always the same .... people burn out and get bored which creates a horrible community as wow has proven.

A good MMO isn't based on dungeons, the xp right now is fine and exactly what we need to keep it a healthy community.

And that's your opinion, we could tell you to go back to Skyrim because if you want to play by yourself go play a single person rpg, see what I did there......Telling people to unsub doesn't help the game, just = less cash for development and then you end up with another could of been FTP MMO.

This is a MMO and there should always be multiple ways to get to max level with all play styles equal in terms xp gain.

Seriously...It's crazy to me anyone honestly thinks they know how everyone should have fun. How can they not understand that variety is good? They make a completely unnecessary either/or argument as if you must only do one thing all the time. It's just bizarre.

If I was in charge of an mmo and it had dungeons in it, I wouldn't make it a waste of time for people to team up and enjoy them more than once.

After running the dungeons numerous times THINKING I was getting normal MMO xp, I suddently wondered why my toons with many hours played were still below lvl 20. Then I discover this discussion and am literally floored. ESO suddently went from 9/10 fun to 1/10 fun for me.

I get bored of questing very quickly. I love the instances.

Why on earth would you make an MMO with wonderful dungeons and not allow players to advance their character playing them? /boggle

Sadly, I paid for 3 months. If I had know this about dungeon xp, I would never had resubbed after my first month. Just pissed.

As it stands, in pve there is literally almost no reason to roll a healer or tank in this game. As it stands, in pve it's not an mmo but a single player style questing game. The game's pvp looks great, but why slog through 50 levels of mindless (inevitably) solo questing to reach a competitive pvp level.

    Holy mmo fail Batman.
