So I was just in Stros M'kai on a new nightblade leveling up. I see an iron ore node just a few feet in front of me and head toward it. Granted this was on a small island there - and out of the corner of my eye I see a figure moving at about light speed towards the node. They were literally running a few feet above the water and blatantly speed hacking / along with levitating.
So, as I close in on the iron ore which was on an elevated part of the island, the "speedy - levitating figure" suddenly disappears into the rock cropping, and before I can get to the node I can hear it being taken via the rock pick noise. They were totally invisible. I was waiting by the node to see if they appeared long enough so I could report them, but nope.
Suddenly they reappear in the distance happily levitating and moving at light speed over the water.
So as my title says Is my actual Billing and Personal Information Safe in this game?
I mean if hackers are getting away with murder still after all the time in beta and a month after release, how is ZoS supposed to stop the hackers from hacking into their billing system as well....because we all know they are sure running rampant in the game.
I know we can't stop bots, and Zos has actually did a very good job slowing both the gold sellers and botters down! But man, I still say there is absolutely Zero excuse to have hacks still running in this game. Every MMO that I have played had a zero tolerance for hacking (all mainstream mmorpgs..I missed out on a lot of the lesser known ones over my 15 years of playing) and it's disheartening to see them in this game that I really enjoy.
I didn't think my hangover was that bad this morning until I spent 10 minutes trying to log into my old Etch-A-Sketch
