Group functions need some work.

Has anyone had this problem before, or is it just me?

Problem: Myself or another group member is hidden - not detected - another group member acquires enemy agro and then all of a sudden, even if I haven't attacked or moved from my hidden state, I have enemies bee-lining for me and I'm yanked out of stealth. By yanked out of stealth, I mean all of a sudden detected, when logically, given my position and lack of "HEY GAIZ HERE I IS COME ATTACK ME" as reasonable sense tells me I should be "safe".

Is this working as intended? I'm having trouble making sense of it.

Or another example.

Myself and a group mate bite off more than we can chew - group mate dies, uses soul gem to revive whilst I'm still fighting to stay alive.

I die just as the group mate's resurrection immunity(?) wears off, mind you said group mate was WELL out of agro range - to the point where you would expect to be safe to catch a breath and reevaluate your tactics and then BOOM all the mobs run directly for said group mate instead of returning to their positions prior to agro.


Is this a bug with the combat/group system or is this just the product of a less than perfect system and is working as currently intended?

Any feedback, suggestions and/or commiseration is appreciated.

    This...omg this. What the hell is up with the agro system in this game?? If one group member agros anything at all, it 1) puts the rest of the group directly into combat regardless of range to the fight and 2) initiates attacks by mobs from the attacked group, which split off and seek out other group members to attack.

    This agro/combat system isn't even close to reality. I get that mobs, if attacked, should look around and assess their combat situation, but if attackers are concealed they shouldn't be ripped from their hiding spots by mere virtue of a melee initiated somewhere. If they're right near the mobs, sure, but if they're around a corner or a goodly distance off...no way.

    Group Agro System = Borked.
