Vampire Undeath Nerf will lead to BOMBASTIC results in Cyrodiil

Right now the only thing that makes it possible to survive the bombfest is to build tanky and have undeath.

I am totally for the nerf, don´t get me wrong. But please please please do something about Vicious Death and Dark Convergence in the same step!

Players generally aren't building nearly as tanky as they could, there's plenty of room for more defensive investment. I tried dropping to Stage 1 with no other build changes, and felt the disadvantage against Stage 3 opponents. There are significant tradeoffs getting back the defensive power provided by Undeath, but it's plenty doable, and with Undeath out of the way next patch, you also won't need obscene offensive stats to finish off kills.

While I don't think pulls should exist in PVP, obviously zenimax does and they're here to stay. That said, sets like VD, plague, and DC are totally fine. They do help kill grouped players from time to time, although have become somewhat ineffective against ballgroups.

This nerf isn't going to help you survive instances where you're dying to these things either - because unless you're the person causing the chain reaction, you're typically dying instantly from high HP - where undeath isn't actually providing you that much mitigation.

Undeath is far less useful against spike damage than it is against pressure builds. Yes, it still helped against bombs, but Undeath was/is best against longer drawn out fights. Bombs won't feel particularly stronger without undeath, because good bombs were already doing upwards of 50k+ damage even with undeath.

Groups don't fall nowadays; the damage+survivabiltiy has always been in the group's favor and will continue to be so.

This is a very healthy change that will benefit PvP players very much once the dust settles.

As I've mentioned in multiple threads-> undeath was WAY too potent for almost no actual exchange (it served to mitigate the majority of the "drawbacks", itself).
