Getting real damn sick of doing your tutorial

This is my 5th alt. I am STILL being forced to do this stupid tutorial. I have searched and dug and looked for some way to bypass it, but if it is there, it is cleverly hidden. I feel like I am being trolled by ESO. Fix it.

You bypass it on character creation, it asks you before you finish creating the character....

Actually it does not do that anymore. It stopped popping up the option question box some time ago. It is either bugged or switched off.

It most certainly asks after you click create char. Ive done few alts myself, it takes you to first big city, so it not only skips coldharbour but alos starter zone/zones. I myself usually ship back to first island.

Just tested. Created new character. Clicked Create and the prompt comes up to skip Wailing Prison as usual.

If it doesn't for you I suggest to make a ticket so they can look to fix it for your account.

I have eight characters. The last two have not given me the option. As my character slots are full I have no need to petition this, but rest assured it is bugged.

I wish it was working as intended and you wasn't able to skip it that would prevent all these level 3 bots.

I just created a new one last night. I took the option to skip and regretted it. Miss that pile of lock picks

In my experience it's pretty much all that drops from trunks, cabinets etc. now IS lockpicks

after they nerfed the Motifs etc.Well, other stuff does drop but much higher lockpick drop rate now in place of higher things. I'm happy to send stack of 100 as I have several.

Yeah, am not getting this. In fact, I don't think I have ever seen it once.

Did you have the bank bug at anytime in the past? The one which forced us to redo the tutorial, reset our banks and sent us lots of useless items to fill up our none existent banks

if you did then I'm wondering if its related. I haven't rolled another character since I got the bank bug.

Yep. I made another alt this last week and there was no option to skip. Was a bit surprised but figured they had changed it. I have 3 alts already and got the pop up on those but that was almost a month ago.

I'll try making another today and see what happens.

If you got hit by the bank bug, and received duplicate early access items, but not created a new character since the fix, chances are you are still flagged as a "new account" and will probably have to run the tutorial once more. Could be that this part of the bank bug was not totally cleared out.

After how many existing characters should it pop?

On the US server, I got it for my 8th person.

Just rolled my second on the EU server and got nothing.

Should appear after one character completes the tutorial.

I made a couple mules, was able to skip the tutorial... got the bank bug and was forced to do the prison on the next one I created, but that was months ago on US.

Last week I rolled a new character and it let me skip the tutorial as normal. I'd accidentally forgotten to change character though so I logged out deleted the character and re-rolled another. This time I didn't get the option to skip and went straight into Coldharobur instead.

I rolled a new toon today, and bypassed the tutorial just fine.
Never had issue with that feature.

I spoke with support and after many failed alts and rerolls, I came up with a solution, not sure if it will replicate for others but its worth a try.
Make and run an alt through the tutorial (so the game now had to recognise I had a character that had done the tutorial - even though obviously I had done it many times before)
Then I used the esc menu, settings, gameplay and set tutorials to off then back on again to reset them, I quit the menu between setting off and on (I thought this just reset like crafting tutorials and stuff, not the whole tutorial level, but it was a support suggestion so I tried it)
Quit game and launcher and wait 15 mins for cache to clear
Restart everything and make a new character and bingo, entering game it pops the dialog box asking if I wish to skip or proceed to tutorial
