Fix Swallow soul and/or the Ranged version of Nightblade.

    But fixing how SS interacts with a blocking target is not at all related to your repeated and entirely wrong claims that the soulcleaver set was bugged?

    It literally is, because while you guys were testing on target dummies that don't block, We are testing on real PvP players that do block. It makes absolutely so much sense why we weren't feeling the heal.

    While we may have been wrong about the soulcleaver set being the issue, it was merely a different issue, but causing the same problem.

    Our claims, were that swallow soul wasn't healing as it should in most cases.

    Like what....? Does it have to be any much clearer than it already is.

    I was testing it in pvp too my guy, and this fixes a bug but doesn't really do much because the heal is still gonna be based on the damage done, and the damage done to a blocking target is going to be super low; it just won't be a null swallow soul if they tap block, instead it'll tick for like 300.

    Yes and in a fight, when they repeatedly block that, it will drastically lower the HPS, especially when there is NO healing whatsoever.

    Additionally, with the fix, 300 hps is better than 0.

    Personally, Swallow Soul should be the NBs ranged version of Arterial Burst. Leave Funnel Health alone as the class kit utility heal morph variant; perhaps buff the amount it heals to be competitive to Radiant Regeneration.

    However, Swallow Soul should be a dedicated, spam able damage ability as an alternative. Player characters lose the full benefits of the HOT portion of the skill when you're spamming the ability. This would be one of my arguments to see the morph transition to be 100% dedicated to direct damage, damage dealing Siphoning ability.

    Alternative, Funnel Health could be a ramping ability where players can stack how much the ability heals: Casting the ability again refreshes the HOT timer but adds, in accumulation, to the healing sum. Or the remainder, if applicable, on how much has been healed to the player(s). This would let the NB deal damage and ramp up a "healing pool" number at the cost of repetitive casts before the Hot expires. This effect would be similar to an over guard ability effect translated into healing returned per tick. Maybe rename the ability as you rip the opponent's soul and share the "lifeforce" essence.

    Either way. I believe the Swallow Soul morph should be similar to the ranged version of the Arterial Burst vampire ability. It would give range Magicka NBs a core, spam able Siphoning ability and leave the alternative morph to be the healing version.

    If I remember correctly, if you can't destroy the target player's damage shield, Swallow Soul recovery should be 0.
    (Please test if this is correct. I'm not sure of my memory. Sorry if I'm wrong.)
