More generally, this applies to any source of buffs. If you wear Oakensoul Ring, then anything that can provide some of the buffs that the ring already provides (such as buffs from potions, abilities, affix scripts, other item sets, and so on) will be redundant, as buffs of the same name do not stack. The only exception is that major buffs can stack with minor buffs, but otherwise there's no way to have multiple copies of the same major buff or the same minor buff.

All of that is to say that yes, Affix Scripts that apply buffs already granted by Oakensoul Ring are redundant. Consider them for builds which don't use Oakensoul Ring, or on scribed skills which apply to allies who may not have Oakensoul Ring equipped.
