Need advice for the Traveling Knife script

So, I want to scribe the Traveling Knife skill for my stamina NB, but I don't have much ink so I just wanted to get people's thoughts. I'm thinking Wayfarer's Mastery (enemies hit are susceptible to the Ruffian passive ability for six seconds), but I'm having trouble with the rest. Multi Target seems like a nice idea, and maybe Off Balance? I'm just not sure what would work together well. Any advice? Thanks!

I've configured Traveling Knife with Multi-Target, Warrior's Opportunity, and Vulnerability. It damages all targets near the initial target and inflicts them with +8% Martial Damage Taken and +5% Damage Taken from Minor Vulnerability.

I wouldn't use Wayfarer's Mastery with this ability because it's fairly easy to proc the Ruffian passive normally. So, it's possible to get the 15% damage bonus in addition to the unique +8% Martial Damage Taken from Warrior's Opportunity.

It's also worth noting that the Ruffian passive applies to Dual Wield attacks only. If your spammable/execute isn't a Dual Wield attack, then it's better to use Warrior's Opportunity with a spammable/execute which deals some kind of Martial Damage, which includes Physical, Bleed, Poison, or Disease Damage.

I use it for stun, 8% dmg taken from martial dmg and minor berserk (since it lasts 20s) This is for pvp.

    Same.

I do this in PVP on my Stamcro. It's terrific for dealing huge AOE burst.

You can’t proc the Ruffian passive on bosses any other way, so it’s worth consideration.

I'd suggest Poison Damage+Assassin's Misery+Vulnerability. Probably not meta, but works for me

I'll go with Telos_Tim on this.
Bosses are immune to all others sources of the Ruffian passive. 😉
A bit egoistic, maybe, but others can still debuff the boss with the increased 8% martial damage taken.

I am using the Multi targetting, Wayfarer and off-balance, combining it with the Vateshran DW execute / spammable, and the Exploiter CP.
    Works like a charm.

Assassin's Misery for the extra status effect chance works very nicely as well. Not often a stam sorc or stamblade gets to provide a good buff to a trial group I do like this scribe.
