Steam Issues

It took me 30 minutes of load screens to load in game after updating the launcher, then the map would take forever to load, as well as crafting stations just to do writs, plus I had 2 random load screens over 3 minutes each just riding from the wayshrine to the daily quest givers in skingrad, so I logged out. I tried again on my alt account (NOT steam) and got in easily, and everything done with no load screen prog. Is this an issue being looked at for steam?

    Well my pts installation disappeared after the launcher update and game keeps chrashing but other than that I’m fine . Everytime they update something you can only pray

    Could you do me a favor, @lellieg8? Can you try loading up Steam again and see if you are having these issues? I updated my personally account through steam and did not encounter any issues. Wondering if it was a first time loading issue vs. a steam specific one. If you have the issue again, happy to escalate.

    I use steam on Linux. I haven’t had these issues. 10 steam accounts. I’d look at your isp? Could be an issue there?

    Hey @ZOS_Kevin , thanks for the response. I rebooted my computer just to make sure, but it's still doing the same thing. I'm at 5-7 minutes right now, and haven't gotten to the character load screen yet. It's just the steam account, which is my main. (My alt account (the non-steam account) is still logging in fine. I also use the same computer for both accounts.)

    I also have issues since the launcher update.

    The PTS disappeared and when I tried to launch the game it was just black screen and freeze. Eventually crash.

    A repair attempt resulted in the message that launcher is busy and I have to wait until PTS is ready.

    I now actively activated "show PTS" and it looks like it is updated.

    I wait and report back.

    I also run it from steam but I am not sure if it is a steam issue here.

    I'm not on Steam and the launcher update has affected me, as well. I looked into processes on my computer and found that the launcher is using network resources to near the maximum of my bandwidth. It looks like it is downloading something in the background, but the launcher itself doesn't give any notification that it is doing anything like that.

    Anyway, I wanted to mention that here in case it could have anything to do with the issues people seem to be experiencing with the launcher update.

    The launcher wont even load for me, when I hit play on steam the launcher comes up for a few seconds then says shutting down and closes itself, I've tried reloading steam but still not working.

    Hi all, just one last troubleshooting item here. For those having issues, could you please do a full uninstall and reinstall? We have seen from a few people that uninstalling and reinstalling has resolved them of prior issues. If issues still persist after that, we will escalate to the appropriate parties on our side for investigation.

    Sorry I forgot to report back (the Portugal match).

    I've waited for the PTS update to finish and launched the game normally.

    It took a bit for the splash screens to load but the rest was normal.

    I was finally able to uninstall and reinstall this morning, I'm loading in game faster, not where it was before, but better than the other day, but when logging out to swap toons for writs, I'm getting stuck on an endless log off screen. I ended up force closing the game after waiting 5-6 minutes just to log out. It was instant before the launcher update. Is there anything else we can try? Thanks @ZOS_Kevin
