You know, it's not like more information about how they could have been obtained in the past could help the fixers pin point what went wrong.

Next time I wont offer anything at all lest I be harassed by people for a totally non-controversial statement on a trivial subject for online nice person points.

All throughout "ancient history" it did not drop for me, so I think this is a good information...

Nice of you to be the white knight to my acerbic response, but just because a bug did not exist in version 1.5 has no relevance to the 1.6 bug. The fact that you didn't get a Fleshy Symbiont prior to 1.6 is a matter of RNG for you. Other people were getting it, but no more. So like I said, ancient history with no relevance to this thread. Unless of course, you are viewing this as confirmation that the bug is real. ZOS has already posted, in this thread, that it is a bug, and that they have a fix. They just won't push it yet.

Sorry, just frustrated by ZOS on this issue. They HAVE the fix. What possible reason could they have to sit on it until November or later (when I'm guessing we'll see Imperial City, the next major update)? This thread has almost 5k views and gets bumped almost weekly when there is no progress. That means players are interested in seeing this fixed. Why the delay???!!!

Man, I wasted a hole day only to find out this was a known bug for over three months and we still have no clue when it will be resolved. We can only speculate we will have to wait another 40 days.

That one fix may require OTHER fixes for it to work.
That's how things work in a complicated program.
IF they deployed ONLY the fleshy fix (which may be VERY hard to segregate from the rest of the code), THEN it wouldn't work. In fact, it may break other things that currently work.

Guys, this isn't a 10-line BASIC program you did in elementary school.

I sent a ticket last year and was told it would be fixed in the next major update.
Last year.
Last. Year.
365 days ago it was broke. It would not drop, last year.

All I got to say is that next big patch must be a terabyte cause they have said everything will be fixed in it.

If some one gets a Fleshy Symbiont, please post in this thread or http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/129559/collectible-achievement-guide-spoiler-alert#latest so we know the drop was really fixed.

I spent about an hour grinding for it today. All I can say is that the drop rate doesn't seem to be increased in the least to make up for this being broken for such a long time.
