Would you prefer for Luminous Ink to also drop from crafting surveys?

On the console they are such a pain I don't bother with them.

No. I don't see why, suddenly, one specific rare resource should drop from surveys, whereas not all the others?

For me, the problem of the low drop rate is not existing. The luminous ink has the same fair drop rate than any other rare resources. The issue is elsewhere: Luminous ink is for now "hit of the week" and as many players want things to go fast (at light speed if possible :D ), such drop rate is for them not acceptable.

It's just one more of those cases, where players complain about drop rate and at same time about their high prices on trading market (although totally logical). Some weeks ago that was columbines as far as I recall? And in some weeks from now, what will it be?
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

It should be sold by same npc who sell scripts for gold along with all the ones we already unlock not just another limited time offers…

Perhaps after having done the 500 Ink achievements they could be buyable.

I voted yes, though I would be fine with the other alternative sources for Ink others have mentioned in this thread as well.

Despite having played a couple of hours each day since Gold Road dropped (aside from last Friday), I have only gotten an additional 7 Ink now, 2 of which were dropped by World Bosses. I admit that I haven't spent any of the hours I played specifically farming the starter zones or Craglorn or anything, but I did go out of my way to pick up each resource node I came across and have Plentiful Harvest slotted. So anything to increase the drop rate of Ink would be welcome.

Would rather they scrap the ink altogether and have a gold fee instead, in the same way it is handled with skills/morphs at the shrines or resetting your champion points.

I have good news for you! You can buy ink with... gold.

While I have bought some and can afford to do so without too much trouble, even with the gold to spare I was still hesitant to experiment.

I was thinking more along the lines of the 3K or so fee for redoing your champion points to act as a direct gold sink without being overkill, so that players without a lot of gold can manage to experiment more freely without it costing them a small fortune that they could have used to gold out a few pieces of gear instead.

I voted yes, with the addition of I wish crafting surveys had a chance to also drop furnishing craft materials as well as ink. I mean the mundane runes, hard wood etc. And when I say I chance I mean either a small amount in each node of a chance for 1 of 6 of the nodes to have a larger amount.

TBH I’m kind of tired of the Surveys being left out of everything. ‘But we don’t want people hoarding them!’ Fine, put a month-long delay in before they start to drop the new goods. That should take the edge off. But have them drop everything a normal node would drop - Ink, furnishing mats, anything new they add later. They’re quite tedious and the more ZOS adds to the normal nodes the less worthwhile they become. It’s also unintuitive for newer players that the Survey nodes are so limited compared to the normal nodes.

Khajiit would consider inks dropping from surveys to be a delightfully fragrant outcome.

Wow, if they dropped at the same rate they drop from normal nodes that might have gotten you three whole Inks! 😉

Khajiit has gotten 7 inks over the past 2 days from nodes, just randomly picking things up. -shrug-.

Right now I'm hoarding them because I'm lazy and have next to no incentive to use them. I already pick up every node I pass by, mats are the least of my problems.

If they gave ink (preferably at a much higher rate than normal nodes so the system finally becomes usable), at least I would finally start using them.

(Imagine all the free SPACE I would suddenly have in my inventory ... <3 )

I have gotten probably 10% or more of my ink from PvP zones. Cyrodiil is actually quite node laden and there are many NPCs to kill. IC is also quite NPC heavy as well. There are avenues for people in these zones to get ink.
Sigh. PvP. Killing players. Not npc chores and toilet paper PvE inside a PvP zone.
