I can't find the free script in Rawl'kha

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else is having trouble finding the free script in the Mages Guild in Rawl'kha. Does anyone know which script it is supposed to be, in case I've picked it up some other way and that's why it isn't showing?

Are these free scripts on the "first see first grab" basis or they are instanced for the players? I hope it's not like that fiasco in Blackreach when a bunch of people gathered around a table in hopes to be the first to grab an item that had a respawn timer of several minutes.

I think they’re there for anyone to pick them up, even if another player has just picked one up. On the list of Mages Guilds that have free scripts, I was able to get mine every single time except in Rawl’kha, And other players were standing by them that had probably just picked them up as well.

I assume you will only see the script if you haven’t gotten it from another source already, which is why I was wondering if that was why I could not see the one in Rawl’kha. But as soon as I’m back in the game, I’m going to go look again just in case I missed it.

Thank you, I found the script… I just wasn’t going far enough away from the mages guild hall 🙂

I was in one of those locations but did not see the script. I assumed that I have not progressed far enough in the Scribing questline to be eligible for them. I only completed Indrik and Netch wings. After which quest will these free scripts become available?

i think gryphon/dragon are the ones which unlock the ability to get scripts from various dailies, not sure if that would also enable finding the ones in the open world too

didnt fully read up on everything that they did, since i was more focused on just completing the scribing questline yesterday lol

Yes, it's the wing of the Dragon that is need for the free scripts. I just reread the patch notes more carefully.
