Guild bank and canceled accounts.

So our guild is just barely over the 10 member threshold to get the guild bank. 3 of our members have said that they canceled their accounts last month, which means, with the extra 5 days of playtime, their accounts should have lapsed yesterday, the 9th (4/4/14 +35 days). They are still listed as members and we still have access to the guild bank. This is a good thing for us, I am just wondering how this is happening. Does the game treat accounts as guild members until they either leave the guild or are kicked from the guild even if their account is canceled?

Accounts are never wiped from the game, except perhaps unless the account was permanently banned (even then I'm not certain the account actually gets deleted).

So someone who cancels their account will still count as a member of your guild, and you won't drop below the 10 person minimum due to this. Someone would need to be kicked from your guild or leave themselves.

As long as you don't remove them or they remove themselves prior to the lapsing, they will stay in the guild rooster. Lapse account don't mean anything for you and your bank, in the other hand, if ZoS bans a player, the account gets removed completely and that's the only way to loose the bank.
