    Copying and pasting directly from WorldLine Global:
    When the IIN does not match any of the products that are configured on your account an invalid response is returned. This means that we will not be able to process this card, most likely due to the fact that your account is not set up for certain specific card products that the consumer is trying to make the payment with.

    I've been repeating this information in both forum topics about payment issues, and I've repeated it to Zenimax's support.

    This is not a technical problem. This is a subscription choice for Zenimax's account with Worldline Global.

    A named account holder for Zenimax's Worldline Global account can log in to the customer portal, and change the subscription to enable the relevant card processing options.

    And therein lies my frustration with this issue. It doesn't take a rocket scientist (or a senior software engineer) to log into a customer portal, change some account settings, and voila, issue fixed for everyone!

    I was trying to get the new expansion here, using a visa card that I use for all my online purchases. It is valid and have been recently used elsewhere. This is still and issue and have been for some time.

    As it looks now ZoS don't really care, they have responded several times that they are "investigating" this issue with card payment and from what I can see try to force us to use PayPal or PaySafeCard which would mean our consumer rights that have been denied as EU have enforced new laws that give us refund rights up 8 weeks after a purchase.
    Consumer rights

    Consumer rights are enhanced, including:
    reduced liability for non-authorised payments from €150 to €50;
    an unconditional refund right for direct debits in euro for a period of 8 weeks;
    the removal of surcharges for the use of consumer credit or debit cards.
    The European Commission produced a user-friendly electronic leaflet listing consumers’ rights under the directive and related EU law.

    I don't know if that is why this happening now where ZoS silently have decided to not update their IINs as described to allow card payment with cards from EU, but as long as ZoS keep silent and don't seem to actually make VISA and MasterCard work in their own ESO Store shop, then what are we supposed to believe at this stage?

    They have had plenty of time to investigate this issue and still no response from anybody at ZoS why this happening and if this will take time to get right person within their organisation to change their agreement or whatever that needs to be done with Worldline Global as payment provider.

    I am just fed up at this stage that I can not buy Gold Road before it will go live on server and miss out on pre-purchase items. No CS or ZoS representative have so far even mention that it will possible to get those items pre-purchase items if we had made a ticket with this issue before 3. of June where we can not use our VISA or Master Card to purchase.

    ZoS messed up PTS server and had no issue to compensate their American audience, but when things happen on the European server or with European payment methods then ZoS just keep silent or worse, push their costumer to use a third party like PayPal or PaySafeCard to remove any responsibility for transaction between seller and buyer and the security like VISAs 3D Secure - 3DS and consumer rights that at least Europeans have as for when making a purchase with Debit or Credit Card .

    As an informational update, I want to share this list of IINs. Most of these are not accepted at the ESO Store since May 2024. These are just some of the IINs for Barclays Bank in the UK. You can use this site to look up the IINs for your own bank and test them on the ESO store.
    https://bincheck.io/gb/barclays-bank-plc

    As well as checking the IINs from both of my cards, I ran through a bunch of other IINs from my bank and was able to confirm what Worldline Global have told me.

    What was the list of banks?

    We tried all the options on the list at ESO-support, but nothing helped. No other card worked neither. Please look at your side for a solution to this. It is atm impossible to get ESO+ or buy anything from the store.
