There’s an addon that causes inflation? 🤔
I rather think that addons like Tamriel Trade Centre help people find better deals, but anyway…
Gold is always welcome — many things can be bought in the game for which the price doesn’t change, and even those on traders, some go up while others go down. Currency is always a greater help to newer players, but it is still an appreciated bonus, or at least I appreciate it.

Addons like that one that does the writs for you mean people can make money faster, thus incentivized to do writs on more toons. And the addons that show where nodes are help people gather stuff to sell faster. So yes, addons do contribute to inflation.
Some of you speak of the PC addons as if they're a bad thing, but the fact is that many of them are adding features to the game that should have already been included. In other words, the addon developers are basically doing the game's developers' work for them.

100k Alliance Points would be a better bonus.

Yeah exactly. Doing daily writs in one click, opening all coffers at once, addons that show where nodes/maps/treasure/chests/thieves troves are located, trading addons to spot flips, doing hundreds or thousands of master writs in a short amount of time in bulk with one click, etc. There's a reason PC has so much more gold.
I hate when PC players say we shouldn't have gold as a log in reward, or remove gold from daily writs, or things from merchants and upgrades should be more expensive, or there should be more mandatory gold sinks. And also I am sure there are new players on PC who could greatly benefit! 100k gold months are good months

A million gold would be more appropriate as a 21 days reward.
