I also sometimes see players with unnatural amount of ap and have heard rumors that is what they do. I can't imagine why on earth anyone would need to "farm" ap. What will they do with it? I have 30m ap on just one toon i'm currently playing and i play 18 toons. I have nothing to spend it on, man. Same with transmute crystals, they just multiply on their own it seems.
It's always the same bunch of players doing it. Believe me:
NOBODY. IS. GETTING. BANNED.
100% approved 😂

its called boosting. farming your friends near an empty keep and get defense ticks. you can get upwards of 1 million AP / hr using this strategy.
worth mentioning people have gotten banned for this, and its not allowed. i dont explain the exploit in full but the gist of it is farming your own friends over and over.
Not allowed, and its a risk you yourself are taking when cheating the leaderboards. i would not recommend it

Ah good ole fashioned fight-clubbing. We used to do that back in SWG when Jedi needed to farm a template.

We have players on the Leaderboard in Blackreach (PC EU) at 4.5 Million AP after only 20 hrs with the start of the new campaign.
The level of skill must be astronomic?
Apparently the top dude got 500K AP in the first hour of the campaign.
How does he do it?

So true
would be nice though to get a fresh official response @ZOS_GinaBruno
Is there any official stance on players not playing PvP the way it was intended? I mean, those that are grossly over-boosting for in-game gold, profit, and not wanting some fairplay?
Same people and guilds have been doing it for years, so I was curious if anything changed. Thank you.

Well there is another step I forgot to mention. Have about 12 friends on an enemy alliance die at the Keep so you get a defense tick.
