When I moved a few weeks ago my internet playing ESO went to Crap and I could not figure out why because my Phone was lightning fast, and my TV had no issues either. I use Wi-Fi for my TV. I did some research and literally am so excited I have figured out the problem and have had NO Issues since.
It was 1 simple thing and i feel so stupid i did not even think about this. When i moved I placed my ATT Router on the Floor instead of a Table like my old house. It just so happens at my old Place my Router Sat on my Work Desk. My new Place it is halfway on the other side of my place, so I sat it on the Floor.
The FLOOR was the Problem 100% I have a PC with a Tower and for some reason having my Router on the floor does not allow the Wi-Fi Signal to properly dome my place and my Tower Struggles to grab the signal. Once i put my ATT Router on a Table Boom! Problem resolved.
i am at 100/80 and can-do Trials again with No lag and everything. So, i wanted to pass that along to anyone who has Lag issues. Raise your Router off the floor and put it on a Table and that could help resolve some problems.
Cheers!
Wires aren't always possible. If I were to move my desk if need to run ethernet along the ceiling through 3/4 of my house in order to get a wired connection.

I installed an Ethernet in most of my house when we moved in 23 years ago. It was a bit of crawling around. The key was planning the layout ahead of time such that I could use existing electrical and coax runs to find the interior walls I needed for the new Ethernet junction boxes and wall plates. It also allowed me to minimize the number of runs I needed. To wire three rooms on the first floor took me a couple of unrushed hours. To get to my second floor media and bonus room about another hour and a half. Even had it taken longer I think the time spent was well worth the performance improvements over wireless.

Although this depends on how the house is wired.
