Fight mechanics and ranged vs melee

    It's actually crazy to think about how counter-intuitive so many aspects of this game have become like the concept of a ranged build benefiting from wielding daggers they don't use while standing 28m from the target.

    The same goes for heavy attacks that don't do more damage, but return resources. No one would design a game like that from scratch. Intuitively, a heavy attack would take more time and effort to do more damage.

    I feel ZOS should have a sanity pass on their systems because some things have become too abstracted via years of bandaid solutions.

    Agreed, and no other class has a single spammable (ranged or otherwise) that does 60% of your total dps.

    Standing close the boss is no longer necessary if you are doing an all Arcanist run.

    It is necessary to be close to the boss if stamarc and want to use ultimate. You light attack on dual wield bar.

    Please define "100%" as it is actually impossible to "100%" IA. Also there are 70 bosses so it is likely that you and I did not face the same ones at the same level of difficulty.
