This is NOT a goodbye thread!

This is simply a request to add a dropdown menu when cancelling one's subscription to select a REASON why they did, as well as an optional field to type out a more detailed explanation. Every other MMO has this.

To me, not having this says "we don't really care why you are leaving. If you feel like putting more quarters in the machine, ty come again."

In WoW, I got a little picture and a message that I was making the Orc Peon cry. This was highly satisfying to me! :P

More to the point, I was able to give them valuable statistics as to what was costing them money, so they could better prioritize fixing it.

Obviously the bot problem is what has ruined it for me, as I have been very (perhaps overly so) vocal about it in other threads. I am still doing my best to give them a chance but after more than a month now seeing no fewer bots and even in level 30 public dungeons, it is a real challenge and constant struggle against frustration.

I feel having this option would also cut down on the number of "goodbye" and "this is why this game sucks" threads on this forum.

I think the reason for these type of posts is that people feel customer service is ignoring them, or doesn't care about their feedback (I have yet to receive a response to any of the dozens of reports of bots I have put in), so they feel the only way they can be recognized for their frustration and bad experience is to post it on the public forums, perhaps in an attempt to "shame" ZOS into listening to them.

This is not a good way to handle customer support.
