I have had an open Ticket for (18 days now) with no applicable response.

I played this game when it first released for quite a while. I just recently returned to it as something fun to do with my wife. I signed us both up for ESO+ and saw that we can purchase crown items as a gift for others.

I decided to take advantage of the current crown sale and bought the large pack of crowns expecting to be able to spend them for both of us. Found out after purchase that I was not allowed to actually use the gift option. Did a bit of reading and found that I needed to request access. With my account being over 10 years old, I didn't see it being a problem and made the request through support.

About 3 days later I got a canned "denied" answer.

Ok, no worries. I responded that I understand, but that I would like them to refund my crown purchase. I also let them know that I just plan on purchasing a smaller number of crowns on both accounts.

After making this request I have now gone 11 days with an open ticket and no response. I am getting fairly frustrated with the lack of response, and each day that I log in to find no response is adding to my frustration.

Is this a normal experience?

    This is getting ridiculous. The only response I got from forum support was that my ticket was closed, start over. After 2 weeks.

    Login and find my ticket is still open, and supposedly awaiting agent. Had a few questions for the forum responder and received no response so far.

    Created a new ticket explaining everything so far and requesting a refund since I can't gift.

    Got what just be an automated response a few hours later just telling me to submit a ticket under gifting. Maybe because I'm my explanation I mentioned being denied gifting?

    Replied to that saying "no, give me a refund I've already been denied gifting" but I'm not holding my breath that I ever get a response.

    It doesn't seem like anyone is actually interested in solving this problem, just in passing me off to the next person so it's their problem.

    Is there any possible way to get this moving? I now have 2 open tickets that have gotten automated responses not addressing my issue when all I want is a refund before I purchase crowns on my wifes account.

    The difficulty of getting something so simple done is very frustrating.

    First 2 have received automated replies and then nothing after. All 3 still show as waiting on agent, even though a forum admin has told me the first one was closed for reasons not explained despite the shown status. it has been 15 days at this point.

    It is very frustrating seeing you posting every day in other threads, when my simple issue still hasn't been addressed. You even have a response to the PM you sent me about my ticket being closed (no other details).
