Was that announced? When are they different? Obviously enough for my addon to catch it, even though I wondered why some had a special mark!

    From the news post:
The Thieves Guild Anniversary Spotlight is part of the ongoing 10-Year Anniversary Celebration and begins this Monday, April 15, and continues until Monday, April 29, 2024.

Yeah, I'm gonna miss 'em... :'( I feel a bit bad, 'cos I was one of the people who complained: that 3 thieves' troves one was a killer! But they've been really great and - once you get the hang of them - almost as quick to complete as the 10 or 15 seal activities. I hope we see something similar again soon.
It's a tradition, or an old charter, or something...

Well that's rather curious. The big bonus endeavor from yesterday (Kill 5 citizens with the Blade of Woe for 200 seals) has nothing to do with the Thieves Guild.
    RIP Bosmer Nation. 4/4/14 - 2/25/19.

The promotion, which ran for two weeks, was mostly for Thieves Guild but it included Dark Brotherhood to a lesser extent.
The themed, higher-value endeavors alternated between Thieves Guild and DB for the entire two weeks.

      OP, I know that feeling.
I missed 40 endeavors another day, when I accidentally made two simple tasks before checking the list. So saw that I could do only one of 100 or 50.
Well, it was that "arghhh" moment. But it was my fault, not devs'.

I guess that the game could notify me about task-related actions. Like showing "1 of 5 bosses killed for endeavor" or "1k of 300k siege damage done".
Making these notifications optional (on/off in the settings) would be the best. That way it won't irritate those who are not interested in endeavors.

Boy, if you thought these daily endeavors were bad, check out this weeks weekly endeavor options. If you're not into PvE grinding you're out of luck this week. Super YUCK! Made me really glad we got so many easy high value daily endeavors over the last couple weeks for sure.

      PVE grinding?

It took all of 1 quest completion for the Archive, ARC 1, and 4 additional stages after that. Like 20 mins tops is hardly grinding. And this is like two daily sessions in the Archive if all you are doing is ARC 1 quest and stopping.

You could literally just spend 2 minutes to do the first two stages of the archive each day, and complete 12 stages by Saturday.

Some players could, certainly, and a lot of players couldn't.

Personally I'll pass on the weekly endeavours this week, which isn't a problem, the three on offer simply don't appeal.

I dunno that I'd call 3 WB's a day, less than 2 Arcs of Infinite Archive, or 3 casual Trials runs (if you're into Trials) during the course of a week, anything close to being a PvE grind.

Yep, it was the second quickest weekly endeavor I'd ever done. And knocked over 2 daily endeavors in that IA run too (the Tho'at and the skeletons), it was great.

Don’t see the problem, logged on read what the dailes were, did the 2 good ones first, seriously no issues here, just read the daily endeavours first!

Agreed. It seems pretty obvious to me that the easiest way to avoid disappointment with daily / weekly endeavors is to simply read them before doing anything in-game. There’s nothing arduous, unfair, or problematic about expecting users to check and see what they have to do to get their daily rewards before they actually start doing something.

Yeah, I should have read them, but I never looked closely enough. I figured they all gave the exact same rewards since they did on the times I did notice the rewards.

As was noted before, simply letting us complete up to all 5 of them would completely eliminate the problem.

And if "Complete a Trial" was the top reward (for example) it would allow you to get the bonuses otherwise even if you ended up not being able to get a Trial in.

      An easy fix for this:

      - Keep counting endeavors after the first 3.
      - Give the different in credit for the others you earn if they are more than the lowest value one you already finished!

Minor change that would fix the problem!

Completely unnecessary, IMO. Why further trivialize an already trivial system? What would even be the point of tying different seal values to specific tasks if doing any of the endeavors would reward max seals anyway?

Easiest “fix” (I’m putting fix in scare quotes because there isn’t actually a problem here) would be to simply add a login pop-up alerting players to the fact that there are increased rewards associated with some of the day’s endeavors. Clicking the pop-up would take players to the list of endeavors. This would help those players who don’t bother to check the endeavors list before engaging in their usual post-login routines.

12 stages is about the difficulty of a normal dlc dungeon and takes about as long too. If you're not able to be the final boss of Arc 1, you can rest the infinite Archive and just run the first stages over again. Those are delve difficulty.

You don't even have to do any of the bosses either. You can just do the first two stages 6 times, resetting the instance in between each.

You may not want it, but why not allow it? It doesn't trivialize anything. It lets players maximize what they earn.
