I set an alarm for 4am my time and woke up early just to try to get the final round of tickets for myself and for my husband, who works long hours and absolutely could NOT wake up that early to try.

No dice, of course. It was pretty disappointing and misleading to promise 2 extra days and only deliver on 1 for PCNA. Especially considering PCEU - who was unaffected by the original outages - got hours prior to the server coming down to try and get their final tickets.

I've played since Beta and I'm just... astounded at how poorly this whole Event was managed. I don't think I've ever seen a worse managed event in the history of the game.

The atrociously punishing FOMO-RNG - some of us put in lengthy grinds in this game and still didn't get Style Pages we were hoping for (lookin' at you, Ul'vor...). The PTS fiasco. All the unnecessary stress over confetti planning. All the hurt feelings and pointless jealousy over who is being compensated or not, and how much. Locked accounts, missing characters and items. Rollbacks. So much unplanned downtime and maintenance. Now this.

It really leads to a feeling that one's time and money spent in this game isn't valued by the developers. I'm not sure if people at ZoS have noticed but the world's increasingly on fire, and it's becoming very hard for a lot of us to justify continuing to pay for ESO+, DLC, etc.

Given all the downtime, I actually did want those last few hours to try for the Ul'vor staff. I thought with the moon motif, and that black orb that it looked a little like an eclipse, and I wanted to transmog it onto my main as an homage to the recent IRL Solar Eclipse that passed over NA.

It's just so... defeating. I don't play games to feel disappointed and frustrated. When games do that: I move on. I know I'm not the only one. I wish ZoS would actually listen, or communicate on these legitimate complaints from their paying customers.

I think the biggest issue is that the resets and maintenance for both EU and NA happens at the same time. Which is usually night in NA and day in EU. Probably because for some reason ZOS can't or won't treat them differently. Maintenance time is annoying for EU players, especially when it's getting extended. A lot of us miss out of play time due to it.

If resets and maintenance happened at different times for EU and NA, let's say midnight in EDT for NA and midnight in CET for EU, these issues would be felt less for most players. One big exception being Asian players, but I can't see a solution for those unfortunately unless they get their own server.

As for this event, the best solution would've been to only extend it on PC NA, since we on PC EU did not need an extension of the event since we never really suffered any downtime. But I suspect ZOS are unable to do that due to how their code is working. I don't mind the extra loot I got, but it wasn't really needed for us.
