Couldn't agree more. They extend the event then take the server down for the final hours that remained for us to get our final three tickets.... make that make sense. Big giant face palm....

It was actually just barely possible to get those tickets in the final minute before the servers went down.

Yes, I was able to summon my cake and eat it when the day reset at 3am PST, but the server went down 30 seconds later. There was no time for anyone to get to the Impresario and buy the last confetti pack, unless they just happened to summon the cake right next to her, and were able to navigate the menu and make the purchase in seconds. And the same thing applied to being able to turn in a daily to receive a gold box with a confetti in it, assuming you had already pre-purchased the 5 make-up confettis in advance.

Expecting players to be able to complete event requirements within 30 seconds is rather startling. Especially considering that some may have disabilities or other limitations that may not allow them to execute a number of actions quickly in a limited timeframe.

This maintence NEEDED TO HAPPEN. So we people who have been locked out for 10 DAYS + CAN PLAY AGAIN. Y'all have been able to play the full event + the EXTENDED TIME. We have had nothing for 10 DAYS. This maintence needed to happen.

I agree with you in principle, but I keep seeing this comment about how the rest of us have "been able to play the full event" and that's just not true at all. For the record, many of us who did not get locked out because of the PTS issue still had, cumulatively, at least three or four full days of downtime during this event.

Certainly those of you who got locked out for 10 days had it the worst in terms of playtime, but you are also getting some VERY generous compensation for that lost time. I'm not mad about that, you all absolutely deserve it, but let's just acknowledge that some of us had a smaller but still unreasonable amount of downtime with absolutely no compensation.

lthat said, we still DID get at least 1 more full day out of the event. which more than made up for the hours of initial downtime for us that were not locked out.

Not for all of us. Some of us had a lot more than a few hours of downtime.
