Legion of the West Weald motif

Hello Hello.
As a fan of the Imperial Legion, and more specifically the West Weald Legion since I discovered them when I arrived in the game seven years ago, I am excited to discover the craft motif dedicated to them with Gold Road .

I went to the PTS with the idea of discovering this armor seen in the promotional images and during the Global Reveal.
And I'm quite surprised not to find it.

Generally, the crafting motifs of a faction linked to the main city of the Chapter (Ivory Brigade, Systres Guardian, Dead Keeper for examples) are always obtainable with the Dailies quest. Either WB or Delve.
But this year in the West Weald, only Shardborn Style is obtainable on WB and Delves.

Are there plans to update this in the next PTS update or is the Legion West Weald motif just not planned for U42 ?

Yeah, i find it strange too!

i was thinking that the shardborn style was going to be obtainable in the Mirrormoor Incursions! :T

Frequently the new motifs aren't released with the chapter but rather with the next update down the line. It appears to be a strategy to extend or reinvigorate the initial popularity window of the content.

So I would expect to see these motifs get added 1-6 months after Gold Road

Most likely this is the route being taken.

ZOS have started releasing motifs very slowly, if at all. The Firesong/Galen DLC actually had no motifs whatsoever when the DLC launched!

yea it and Lucent Citadel's motif will likely be in update 43 and will probably release September-November.

whilst it is frustrating it is kinda expected after it's been this way for several years

I honestly think it is better if the crafting motifs are included at chapter lounch! I defenetly do not want to do the stuff twice. I'll most likly gonna wait with a lot of the world activetys if they are delayed again. And I don't like that...

I also dislike that, because of that, they choose to have all overland sets in the same style. I'd perfer them to be in different styles. Especially since on of the set seems Aylied themed (at least namewise), so I'd love to have the set use an Aylied style and a coresponding crafting motifs. No idea if the actually add a new Aylied style to collect.

But I guess the new Imperial motifs are set in stone so there is no need to worry for you

i do agree, but there is no new Ayleid motif.
there's just the Ayleid lich outfit style for the upcoming Whitestrake's Mayhem.

the West Weald legion and Lucent Citadel's motifs are the only missing motifs from the chapter.
