Hi, not sure if this is the right channel to get dev's attention - just wondering, is it possible for devs to conduct maintenance of each PC's NA/EU megaservers on different days? e.g., for NA players, while NA is on maintenance they can still login to EU megaserver to continue enjoying the game, then login back to NA while EU goes on maintenance. I just would really love to be able to keep playing ESO with minimal downtime possible. If anyone else agrees pls feel free to chime to get dev's attention. Many thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

Since it is a patch maintenance today, it is highly unlikely to have separate times for both megaservers. It could have been possible to do that before One Tamriel, since you had to have different installations for PC-NA and PC-EU back then.

    genuine question:

can someone explain the logic of why they are synchronised ?

I thought the servers were separate - 1 in Germany, and the other in USA....

As Maitsukas refers to, splitting up a patch maintenance between EU and us servers would bring along a number of complications, as most people will access both servers out of a single installation. People could be locked out of a server that's still up because their client updated before the server, for example.
