Contradiction - Announcement still says Jubilee ending tomorrow, but other post says 25th?

If the jubilee event goes until Thursday, I don't need to buy any more confetti to get the mount, and I can use my tickets on other stuff. If it stops tomorrow, as the announcement still says, I need to buy confetti today. The contradiction between the in-game announcement and the post about last Monday's debacle is confusing. If the event is actually now ending on the 25th, why wasn't the announcement changed during maintenance this morning? @ZOS_GinaBruno are we still getting confetti packs Wednesday and Thursday as it says in your post, or should I believe the in-game announcement? Apologies if there were other things I should have been following, but staring at "1D 0H" left of event on my screen right now. Thanks!

This is the case.
The little banner on the Character Select screen cannot be changed while an event is live.
Kevin pointed this out during the recent Crafting event when they needed to make a change to the event attributes.0 -

Interesting but okay. "Can't" seems a little hard to believe but "far too difficult to be worth the trouble" I might buy. Confirmation from ZOS would be nice.0 -
