Because Rapid Strike do that "Each hit increases the damage of the subsequent hit by 5%" if the first hit do 4500 and no 2500,the subsequent hit cannot do less than him 🤡🤡🤡
I am unsure how to read those screenshots, like if rapid strikes with this buff are apparently doing monster damage, why the DPS "with the buff" is actually smaller than without?
the dps is irrelevent because he used other skills for some reason in the buffed parse.
what's relevent tho is that with 67hits, 81% crit he did 659,976 total damage while on the buffed version: 72 hits, 68%crit but a total dmg of 1,277,010 dmg which is roughly double dmg so far.. and that's brazy...

The only changes to my buffs are the use of fiery contigency and maelstrom Two Hand Sword (merciless charge). I can definitely increase my damage even more on this skill, I need to find sets that improve this type of damage for snowball even more 🤓🤓🤓

That's what they're trying to do. Frontload as much damage into the initial hit to get the largest possible burst.
With lucky crits, 30k x3 would translate into maybe 15k (+/-5k) total damage after battle spirit and damage reduction. Not bad for 1 second of damage. Maybe they could wind it into a combo, then Dawnbreaker + execute.
