For console prove me wrong! console has just been put back 6 months so they can release a good game and they are useing us PC / MAC users to get it right.

    Not a shocker.

I agree, for what it's worth. But on the other hand, steady improvement in the game benefits us too.

And think about it: once the console people come in, you'll get the privilege of saying, "Why, back in my day, you should have SEEN the bugs in this game! You console young'uns don't know how good you have it." :p
I have just told you more than I know.

6 months like this and ESO will be best ghost game ever.
No lag, no broken quest`s, no players

However much I'd like to agree with you, this is a pointless, nonprobative statement; furthermore, it's not even original, as there are countless threads wherein posters have suggested the same thing.

Finally, if this is what you believe, and if it makes you so unhappy, go do something else -- checkers, chess, and hopscotch are well past the beta stage in their respective lifecycles.

    Cheers

A video game can withstand harsh reviews form the PC community.

Xbox magazine, PS publications & the like, would castrate our beloved title in it's current condition.

That would seriously hamstring what is a brand-new company, or at the very least get the lead programmers...reassigned..

So, in that respect, I agree with you, we are beta testing every patch they put out for ZoE.

If people stick around long enough.

I'd never pay for this game for 6 months while it's in extended Beta. Don't see why anybody would.

At least give people a lag free game. With abilities that you can bang off without issue. And an economy to be proud of. Then maybe it would be worth sticking around for. You lose a lot of customers while the next nine patches are being brought to a boil.

I would also like to point out that the console community will have a much better gaming experience of ESO than the PC / MAC players maybe this game should be closed for 6 months NO ROLLBACKS but just closed. So as you can make it right for both sides because as it stands I feel like a second class gamer compared to Xbox or PS4

Yes and no... You are assuming its the same dev team.

Yes we are finding bugs in the PC version. Once we find them and report them I am sure that the console people go look for those specific things in their game. To see if it is there or not.

No we aren't because Pc's have millions of different hardware combos and consoles have 1... There will be bugs unique to the console version that won't ever appear in the PC version and visa versa.

All they can do is QoL stuff and check to see if the bugs coming up on pc/mac are coming up on console.

You mean like they should have done for the PC players when they knew how broken the game was from beta tester?

    Agree totally.

The game should have had server-side sanity checks to protect against speedhacking and detect bots from launch. In 2014, AAA MMO's are expected to have this covered - there's little excuse for having the volume of vulnerabilities ESO's engine/core has.

The client itself and the load order of mesh, collision physics and textures is conducive to players becoming trapped in scenery and props, especially when there is lag.

While I feel only about 10%-20% of my actual game time playing has been ruined by bugs and bots (maybe 10% by the maintenance schedule but I don't mind them having to roll out updates to fix things, if they didn't do that they'd get grief for failing to respond to even more issues)

It's the knowledge that there are cheats and gold-buyers out there that will benefit from purchasing materials, boosting crafting skills, etc. and the benefits they'll gain as a consequence of that - which makes me feel the game in general has being wrecked by a lack of foresight and failure to give due consideration and priority to protecting against vulnerabilities and exploits that many MMO players could see coming from miles away.

Even if I was planning on re-subscribing it sounds like that's broken and will result in me being charged without receiving game time... so I'm not sure doing anything is wise at the moment except wait to see if things improve based on feedback from players here... :(
