Please report any issues you run into while testing West Weald quests and content in this thread. In general, we prefer you to use /bug in-game but if you’d rather submit a report here, please give us as much information as possible, including screenshots and/or video if applicable. Thank you!

    It said that everyone would have access to testing the new stuff. I can't test the new stuff because it says I don't own the Gold Road DLC. This even applies to the two new crown store houses, even the one in Southern Elsweyr.

    Pending data load error (18478571 - c000000002b7ed9)

    Even after a repair via the Launcher. Will post details if I can figure out anything further.

    [ edit ] turns out that particular character crashes at the locale I made it to near Skingrad; another does not thus far

    It says I can't access the zone. I am able to enter Skingrad but not the Scholarium.
    If it helps, I pre-purchased it.

    I saw a person report this yesterday. It sounded like you can walk in from Gold Coast and it should work.

    Came crashes to desktop when going outside of the south east gate right next to the Chapel of Julianos, I have two characters STUCK and I cannot get them out because they crash upon loading them in. Leramil appears invisible and when moving past her on that little bridge the game crashes.

    Same problem. I pre-purchased the Deluxe Edition of Gold Road but when I try to get into the Scholarium, it gives me the same message as shown above: "You are unable to travel to this area because it is locked. You can unlock this content by upgrading to Gold Road (Chapter)"

    So much for testing the new scribing system. Right now it's a major fail. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin

    And just so you know, I've tried some of the usual fixes like logging off/back on, abandoning the quest and reacquire, etc.

    My issue is minor in comparison - I can't learn the new Gold Road outfit styles. I opened the Gold Road collectible container and then opened the Gold Road outfit container that was inside it but it just disappeared, like how the containers of event outfits just disappear if you already know them all. I tried this on two template characters but the same thing happened. Literally every other style is unlocked except for the three from Gold Road and of course it's the Shardborn style I desperately want to mess around with, lol. Anyone else?

    (i haven't been yet on pts and i'm not in rush with yesterday)

    on previous chapters even if i don't on the chapter, making template character will unlock new content - first weeks, but last weeks on pts cycle are locked for who owns chapter (eso+ for q1, q3, q4) - second part can't confirm if it is locked as until then i own what will be new.


    Edit: (i do own the new chapter) on log in at existing character shrine itself outside the town is not visible, although town is not greyed out and i can zoom in. as template is spammed at the shrine it becomes visible only for that character and still is not visible from my old characters.

    It's below the castle across from the thieves den. One of my characters crashed on the bridge straight ahead on the screenshot and the screenshot is also a crash.

    My main character is stuck on that same bridge. I was crossing it headed to a quest then the game crashed. With the same "Pending data load error (18478571 - c000000002b7ed9)" error code. I can still use the template characters I made.

    I'm also getting a critical error crash right under the same Skingrad bridge. It locked me out of my template character, so I deleted it and made a new template character but to test that it's a "global" problem I went back to the same spot and hit the critical error again.

    @Fata1moose 's screenshot is pretty solid for approximating the spot.

    Trying to log back into the character after throwing this error will again crash to desktop. I can get around it by deleting the character or by logging on another character, obviously, but any character that suffers that crash will effectively be locked out unless they're rezoned on ZOS's end.

    I get this error when approaching skingard castle, three times. My character is now unplayable as it happens when loading the zone. The first two times he loaded abit back from where the crash happens.

    Unable to sign-in again with the character, it crashes all the time.
    Character name is "Quan Templor" if you want to check the position on the server.

    Still have the same problem. One of the things I wanted to try out the most with the Gold Road expansion and cannot do so. Funny thing is that this particular bug still allows access to West Weald. With any other Chapter, you wouldn't be able to even get to the Zone without having purchased it. Hopefully they will get this fixed on the next PTS update.

    UPDATE: I just logged back on and was finally able to go through the door. So I'm not sure if the problem resolved itself, or ZOS made a few fixes. Anyway, I'm scribing now.

    Yeah, I'm hitting the same issue on a char shortly after exiting the Thieves Den and can't load the char at all without it crashing.

    Yes, I got the same critical error with my main PC NA character after starting the main quest and going to one of the three locations southeast of Skingrad. Now I am unable to log on to the pts with my main character. I keep getting the same critical error.

    I was able to use another character to log on to the pts but I have not picked up the main quest.

    RIP PTS with my main character. :s

    I got the Pending data load error (18478571 - c000000002b7ed9) after I was doing some exploring around the outskirts of Skingrad. Now every time I login on him, it's an almost instant CTD. I can't remember specifically where I was when I first got the error beyond somewhere within the blue circle on the map below

    the Scholarium seems to be giving me performance issues. i crashed several times in there, but one time my pc restarted so not sure if its an issue with my pc dieing or the game itself or both. not having issues outside of it however

    While running around West Weald, near the end of my journey, I received a message several times stating "Critical Error" and the game shut down each time.

    Glad I'm not the only one. I have two toons unable to continue due to the crash outside Skingrad that others have reported:

    On multiple characters now, when I get near this part of the map, I believe just SE of Skingrad, I get an error, crash to desktop, and the character can no longer be logged in. The first time I was on top of the bridge in the attached screenshot, this time I was running towards it.
