Telvanni Peninsula Delve Daily and Delve Boss - no anniversary gift boxes?

I picked up the delve daily quest from Ordinator Tilena, and received Manifesting Hope.
I completed the quest and handed it in - I received the daily reward, but not Anniversary Event gift box.
I went back in and killed the delve boss - again, no gift box!

You only get one gold box per day, but all the dailies should be rewarding the purple boxes.0
