I'ma guess no one noticed since no one uses BoL anymore. I don't see how in the world this can be intended:
- Every time you blink, boom, your stats flip for the 3 sec the ball of light is there (though they don't update on the UI unless you bar swap).
- Also means your hardened ward wont heal you while you're blinking.
Definitely some spaghetti code going on here.

✭✭✭The boost to shields is nice thanks to the max health increase from Ball Lightning. Not every build uses Streak. Some very good Stam Sorc builds use Ball Lightning and get their stun elsewhere.PC NA0 -

There's no indication anywhere that it would be considered a pet in the tooltip, though. Mh, if you were already optimizing your health/mag to maximize shield size, then when the ball of light is out and you lose 10% mag/stam -> 10% hp, then your shield sizes aren't getting boosted, they're getting lowered. Which is then further compounded by NOT GETTING THE HEAL FROM HARDNDED WARD, since the ball is a 'pet'.3 -

Yeah it's a very weird interaction. It doesn't have any actions that pets do. It doesn't move, deal damage, or have a health bar. Every pet in the game has one of these three mechanics. Even proc set pets.2 -
