U41 Has Impacted Targeting and Potion Usage

This is primarily a PVP perspective, I'm not sure how significant this is in PVM.

Since U41 dropped, I've been having significant issues with targeting players in PVP. I always utilize tab target in PVP when fighting multiple people, but lately it feels like this adds no target priority whatsoever. I very frequently hit players that are not tab targeted and are not within my reticle when attempting to hit a person I have targeted, and often times will hit players that aren't even visible on screen in front of me (like firing an assassins' will at somebody who is standing behind me whilst aiming forwards at another player). Corpses and NPCS also seem to have some significant target priority over players, and will often be chosen as targets over players even when aiming directly at them. I have spoken to more than a dozen other PVP players regarding this, and the sentiment seems to be shared amongst all of them. Players utilizing both Gamepad and Mouse & Keyboard seem to be experiencing this. For me personally, this has drastically impacted how combat feels and has deteriorated the experience significantly.

Potion Usage appears to have been directly changed as well. It genuinely seems that potions are attached to the global cooldown in some way now. There will be times where I press the keybind for my potion multiple times while in a fast paced encounter, and I'm never able to get it to actually fire despite hearing the audio queue. While there have been some minor issues with potions firing for a while now, this patch has undeniably introduced some new level of obstruction to their use. I often need to cease all functions other than basic movement in order to actually get my potions to fire.

Would love to hear from anybody that may be experiencing the same thing or something similar.

    Sprinting and heavy attacking have felt... I guess stickier? Either of which could be blocking potion use. I've experienced this for a while but it could be getting worse. Tab target has been hit or miss *Ba dump ts* I have only been PVPing in short bursts and mostly on Sorc and Arc and many times it just wiggs out.

    I've noticed the potion thing as well, feels like when I'm doing my damage rotation on my necromancer, pressing potion does not reliably work unless I stop doing any action and then use the potion.

    Definitely noticed a degree of difference in some PvE targeting as well

    I can confirm there's something wrong with potions. Sometimes the sound plays but the potion does not get used.

    It just happened to me in Imperial City. I used a detect pot and heard the sound, then ran into a 1v3 to kill a low health player. Except the potion didn't activate and a stealthblade opened on me for 25k damage. Now I'm at 35% health in a 1v4 instead of 100% health in a 1v2.

    For years I've been used to the sound of "potion not available" spammed when the timer in my head messed up and tells me I can use it a few seconds before its ready.

    This patch I'm getting used to the sound of "potion used" spammed when the potion is indeed available but doesn't apply.

    Also seen more missed GCD since last PvP event.

    I've noticed both things mentioned. There also seems to be an issue with some abilities being often impossible to use for like 1+ second after breaking free and with missed GCDs in general.

    All of these things are extremly negatively impacting a combat experience.
