Question about making a library in housing
I decided to make a library in the first section of the Telvanni Peninsula free house, Kelesan'ruhn, the Necrom style building not the Telvanni mushroom style.
I have a furnishing of what I think is the Necrom Bookcase, Elegant Grand that is rather large, and started putting the furnishing books in the lower half of the shelves. Those are already full (I just placed them flat on the shelf in a hurry, just to get started) but now I am wondering how I can put books in the upper half and still be able to read them. I am using the individual books found from treasure maps.
This may only be a problem on console and with PC using a controller. The cursor is fixed in the center of the screen and I don’t think I will be able to click on books onto the upper shelves if I have to tilt the camera upward far enough to reach them. They will be obscured by the edge of the shelf.
I would appreciate any advice on how others have successfully done this. I do not know anyone on PS that has set up a library.
My thoughts are that I would have to place something like steps for the character to stand on to read the upper shelves, or just stick to shorter bookshelves. The other option would be to have the edge of the books stick out beyond the edge of the shelves, but this would not be preferable.
